Word. I don’t know why they didn’t just keep Turner. It should’ve been Chet giving up parental rights to Turner. Chet made Shawn move in with Jack, who honestly was more there for Eric so would’ve been better have Turner care for him permanently. John was always there for Shawn and took him in without hesitation.

@@PiazzaGurl Exactly. Shawn needed someone to look out for him and Turner was always that person. Sure, Jack cared about him because they were brothers but he didn't know to look out for him like John did.

Honestly this relationship should’ve lasted way longer. Turner really took care of Shawn and after the hospital scene, Turner should’ve always been there. When Shawn’s dad passed away, Turner was suppose to be their. They messed up on Shawn’s story. Cory had his family, Topanga and Especially Feeny. Shawn should’ve been given Turner.

Angela was there for Shawn after Turner, not directly after but there for him nonetheless. She was a stabilizing force in his life for awhile.

@@nightstrike90 True. They should have had him appear of Shawn's graduation from High School, perhaps even college! Phone conversations when, his Father died, Angela left and other times for support and advice-not just Corey's Dad and Mr. Feeny. They used phone conversations with Suzanne Somers of "Three's Company" as they made their decision and to prep the audience for life after she left. Shawn lived with the man, that bind doesn't just vaporize!

I always blame contracts for actors as the reason certain things in shows happen. Idk if turners actor's contract or something happen in his personal life which forced the creators to switch gears, but their relationship was just one of both of them growing as people
