Congrates from Ukraine😊 Sunflower is our favorite motiv in paintings - considered as almost a national symbol🤣. Yet, here it s quite problematic to find a place to paint sunflowers in "peace and quiet" 🤣🤣 one should go far away to find something you painted. I like everything about that video - as a painter i feel happy about your result, as a human, i am happy for the news you announced! Inspiring to watch you create. And, thanks for not over-dubbing (in your videos) a bunch of peppy (trite) acoustic guitar music. I prefer to hear the quite, or the birds or the trucks or anything over that silly music. I don't do oil and I'm only a novice in watercolor, but I may dig out some oils or at least my acrylics and go at it.

Hello Turner I think you were channeling Vincent..... My questions are these; Were you wiping off onto your rag, when your brush got muddy? or When you wanted to change colour from warm to cool? Your grey background, was it dry when you started to draw on the top of it and block in? You make me feel like painting in oils again, on my box easel that my brother made me. We are both expressionists. I loved how you carved and chiseled the shapes, with the colours against the sky. OMG! Too much paint! Love the composition and the loose painting technique but this would have been better if you’d got your composition first with a thinner layer of paint and then embellished it with thicker strokes of paint to finish it. You would have achieved the same sort of effect but it would have been more refined. Some of it looks a gooey mess. This work has so much potential, in my opinion, just needs refining a bit more. Still interesting to watch, thank you.

Love all of your demos.. I watch and soak up every bit if info I can. I started oil painting in January of this year..I have done some pretty paintings, landscapes and portraits.. but it takes me DAYS!!! lol and I would like to be able to paint more loose.. I've always been mesmerized by that style, i just love it. And the first time I watched your video I was trippin like, what is this guy doing?! Hes making a mess! I like your plein aire technique - you don't mess around. Lots of paint and quick, no noodling. As a noodler, this is what I aspire to. Imma drag out a canvas and try this today.
