Браво =) у меня был такой красно-чёрный Фаэтон в начале 90-х. Подарок на день рождения, 7 лет. На то время это было невиданное чудо. Ваше видео принесло столько светлых воспоминаний о детстве, спасибо огромное =)

Among a LOT of toy restoration videos I watched, this is one of the top five (out of the works of at least 750 of the best in here, some with 500K+ subs) The way you made the restoration is one amazing piece of art by itself. But also the way you edited your video and the efforts you put in recording it is another piece of art. And last, but not least, the toy itself was glorious and became glorious once again thanks to you... Big applause from here, congratulations, you've put a rare master toy restoration video in every sense. 🎉

This car has been aged artificially. All that heavy rust is just surface rust and is bright orange. It has been recently exposed probably to salt water.
@Margo714P2 ай бұрын
@@christo930 I was wondering if this was the case. You are right, bright orange rust is a tell-tale sign of an object being exposed to salt water. If this is what happened with this car, it is still pretty amazing how he 'restored' it.

WOW those heavy duty gloves you use to protect your hands while sandblasting are gnarly as heck! So interesting to see this early style car, I have to imagine the body was based on a Phaeton horse carriage-- not that I know much about it, but being the same name and having a real similar look it would be the obvious conclusion... it makes sense that very early cars would take inspiration from the vehicles that were already popular, I just never thought about it before. True horseless carriage lol. I love these restoration videos, the furniture ones are lovely too but these miniatures and particularly old automatons and things just are so satisfying and inspiring!
