They both look so good! Markers are probably my least favorite medium of art, paint being my favorite, and watching you mix the markers with the rubbing alcohol to paint with makes me want to try it!

The drawing is beautiful, but the blush on brown skin is not pink. You should keep in mind that different skin colors make blush also change color. For example, the drawing with crayola looked more realistic because the blush was a little darker and blended better with the skin.

I happen to disagree. It does look sorta odd. But that’s because she didn’t blend it out with a more medium tone. Darker skinned people have the same blood as light skin people, we have the same “tone” of blush. It’s just “darker” and or harder to see because it’s darker skin. YOLO. 😂

For Blackstone you can make the blush a darker colour if it's just lighting and so on but in terms of make up you can just make it darker or do like appleminte did and I think that which ever way you choose to draw it. It looks amazing.

You can actually mix it with water instead of rubbing alcohol and works well. Work with some highlighter too. Pretty much every water based markers actually. Plus, you don't have the alcohol's smell :P the result for your drawing is pretty legit ...and your character is a cutie!

This is cool!!! I always do this with some brush tip markers and it really works to get a more even layer, also it works great for shading altough my markers were already alcohol based so i use some water to dilute them ^^

You did a really good job getting the right shades, the copic one is just less "chizzely" and blended a little better, but it is pretty close

yeah, chameleon markers are refel_able(sorry if I spelled it wrong) with ink and a nib and when I saw your way of drawing hair I rushed through to color in my drawing and it I was so happy with it (I forgot it was 12 : 00 am😂😂) but I did complete the video after!

Crayola marker inks makes really nice watercolors too. I tried it and it's really surprising, it performs better than every cheap watercolors I've tried the are in the same price range.

You should try this again but use denatured alcohol, that’s the correct kind for alcohol marker pens and alcohol inks and I’m really curious about it

I am very impressed with the crayola markers. That is because of your talent however, I don't think I could match the colors that well. I personally have the Graph'it line of markers. They are brush on one end and a fine point felt tip on the other. I color smaller stamped images for cards so this made them the right choice for me. They are a company from France, and price wise about the same as copic, they blend equally as well.

honestly if you know how to use crayola markers or any water based markers like you would a copic, they are actually really good. it gives the drawing a more vibrant look and it looks more realistic. i myself use various types of things, copic and crayola included and when i see what people can do with a simple water based one, it kinda makes me wonder why i spent so much on copics 😅. they are wonderful and all but i guess i just didn't realize that if you learn and practice, other cheaper things work just as well. qwq
