I had my first 2 kids in marriage until that dissolved. My last kid was out of marriage and having experienced both I'd say it's the quality of life that you offer the kids. A healthy, enabling environment is the most important thing, with or without both parents.

Thank you for opening up about this topic. I haven't found many videos relating to this. I also share the same sentiments with regards to freezing my eggs. I'm 28 and when I told those around me they almost didn't take me seriously. From what I understand the sooner you do it, the better. also takes the pressure off in terms of marriage, biologically and career wise. I started researching this last year but found that storage costs were a bit on the higher side, so it's not accessible to all unfortunately

🤣🤣 Are we the same person?! With the marriage timeline etc- I can relate! I’m 28 and I’m definitely considering freezing my eggs around 30. I think our generation are just exploring all our options. Other generations didn’t really have an option but to marry, get kids etc. We’re also in a time where we’re more comfortable saying we don’t want kids at all or we want to do things for ourselves first. But yes. Definitely considering freezing my eggs

Well, I'm also turning 31. I have been thinking of having kids. But wanna be stable financially, and need stability in my relationship too. Coz I don't want my kids to experience what I have experienced. The stats is showing that the number of women who gives birth now in their 30s has increased, unlike in ancient days. I have literally been talking to my close friend about freezing my eggs. She thinks I’m crazy cos I’m young. I’m 28, doing great in my career looking forward to growing. However, but I know I’m past my prime for having kids. As a health professional I should know better. I also know that I’m not having children tomorrow. We have to be real with ourselves. Freezing eggs gives you a chance harvest healthy eggs. as we grow older the number of eggs reduces and the quality also decreases. So girl go for it! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain should you decide to use them.
@Salted_Fro2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. This varies from woman to woman, this takes into account the factors that may affect conception. Barring any challenges with conception 28 is still good age to have children. Studies have shown that women who conceive in their 20’s have better outcomes for them and their babies. And the percentage of positive outcomes reduces after 30, and significantly after 40.

Your range truly reverberates your personality, and your appreciation for quality. Serum bottle: Practical applicator , especially because one wouldn't typically require a lot for the hairline area. It is compact, perfect for traveling. And yes, it screams quality and it is very much aesthetically pleasing. Hair oil: I personally would have preferred a nozzle applicator because I am clumsy and don't like it when oil sipps through my fingers and I become too oily and messy and in turn my hands become too slippery to replace the over cap and I end up losing it. However,it's way better than a "gaping" wide opening. Thank you for that consideration. I am looking forward to trying out the entire range and giving my hair a quality experience that has been really thought through.
@sinovuyomondliwa2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the clear and detailed feedback. I considered a nozzle and it can fit on these bottle. I might add an option for people to choose a nozzle. I just personally don’t like nozzles because I never use them directly either. I still pour on my hand

First of all, I'm so glad I bumped into this video. This was the best way to spend 25 minutes on a Sunday morning, on KZbin. I love your content, love the quality, the authenticity, everything everything! I studied Biomedical sciences and we've touched a bit on the topic of women freezing eggs. I honestly think it's a good idea. Also, some people store embryonic/umbilical cord stem cells for their babies. The biological clock is against us, unfortunately, like it doesn't wait for us to sort out our finances, career, relationships, etc😭😭. But with such advancements in the medical field, almost anything is possible. ❤ Additionally, your natural hair journey has been so amazing to watch. From filming hair content with your cellphone to now launching your own hair products. I mean?!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 we are for this! I also enjoyed the mini business lesson towards the end of the video. Really Informative and eye-opening. Thank you for taking your time to put together this beautiful video for us. #Sinatural

I'll be 27 this December. And there have been 4 pregnancies at work, ladies ranging from 22 to 27, and the announcements hit me hard each time. I used to not want to have children but that has since changed. My partner has always wanted children. But we're not married and my partner is not financially stable. Furthermore, I still live at home and so does he. So, I am not comfortable having children at the moment. But because of my age, and the feeling of being left behind in life, I have been anxious about the matter. And it's heavier on my heart than career and marriage because unlike the latter two aspects of my life, it is more closely governed by time - which is something I can't buy or apply for so that I get more. I guess I would freeze my eggs. But there is an age, beyond which, I wouldn't want to have kids. So...sigh. This is so hard.
@amandakhanyase85232 жыл бұрын
I had my 1st at 32 after being married for 10 years. We never really wanted kids initially and I was on contraceptives since I got married at 21. At around 28/29 I started changing my mind and worrying about it a lot and we decided I should completely stop contraceptives and use natural contraception. At 30 it became a more pressing issue for me and I feared that I would not be able to have kids if we waited longer. At 31, without even intentionally trying we conceived. I can totally relate to how you are feeling especially with everyone around you having babies. I can understand the pressure you might even be getting. Just have a candid conversation with your partner about your fears and all ( we had the conversations for at least 3 years before we felt we were now ready to have kids). If you guys want to get married before having kids then maybe you can opt for something intimate with your families and then try saving money for when you decide you want to have kids. Visit your gynea and chat to her/him also about your fears and then take it from there. All the best to you and your future plans.
@amandakhanyase85232 жыл бұрын
@@hleary1670 I think for now freezing might be the best option sisi until you find the right person to Father your babies because it is hard being a single parent especially if that is not what you want. God hears your prayers and don't you ever doubt that for a second. For now you can try dealing with your past trauma and see a professional if you have to so that when the time comes to be mom you would have worked on you. It is a very worrying thing especially because we are racing against time but all will work out for the best. All the best sisi. May God give you a clear direction and bless you with a loving a supportive partner who will be there for your kids and you ❤🙏

I turned 31 last week but when I was 28 years old, I decided I was going to freeze my eggs at 32 years old. I have no plans to have children in the next 8 years or so (God willing). I’ve done some research on the different clinics that are available in SA, the risks associated with the procedure, the cost, etc., and I’ve also had a chat with someone who also froze her eggs about 5 years ago. Hopefully this time next year I’ll start with the process. Thank you for having this conversation 🌸
@bloomingthoughts_2 жыл бұрын
Hi sisi. I’m 28, also been thinking about it. Have you been able to find out what the average cost would be to freeze them?
@nm92852 жыл бұрын
Hi sisi, I hope you’re well. It depends on the clinic one uses, but you can search “cost of freezing eggs in SA” and there’s a clinic that says their cost is R32k (2019) excluding all the consultations, blood tests, etc. What I’ve decided to do, is to budget R55k - R60k just to feel comfortable that I have enough to cover inflation and other unexpected costs. Anele’s Talk Show also did an episode that’s available here on KZbin, the lady detailed the procedure and some costs. I hear that you have to pay for the medication you’ll be taking leading up to the procedure as well, see the suggestions and decide for yourself how much you think you should save. I hope the above helps. Also, you can call the clinics themselves and ask for their prices.🌸

I think it's a great idea to freeze eggs because it gives you options. I think we must speak more about it and not make a thing out of it.

I am turning 39 in December 2022 I never thought of freezing my eggs because I always said “I still have time” until I turned 35 I realized that time is not on my side. Freeze your eggs

Hey love. There have been people who have fallen pregnant after 39 so it’s not the end. However the freezing process seems to not to be possible post 35.
