I don’t know how many people actually plan to follow this a like a tutorial but I thought I would mention that the wig he is using is a human hair wig, this is important to note as the dyes he is using work for human hair but will not work if your using a synthetic fibre wig. Synthetic wigs need to be dyed with ink or fabric dye as the fibres are basically like polyester. The other techniques should all work for synthetic wigs as long as your wig is heat resistant. :)

For anyone interested in dying synthetic wigs, iDye Poly is the best fabric dye that I've found--just make sure your wig is heat-resistant and take extra care if there's lace and/or a skin-top (which I learned the hard way...). The sharpie-ink method that seems popular does dye pretty well, however the colour tends to rub off onto things. iDye Poly is the way to go!

I took the hair to a salon for them to dye and thats when they told me they couldn't dye it since it was a blend. I still have the hair stored in a drawer in its plastic packaging.

Oooh girl get a curly cut! It's worth the $$$ they treat your hair and get your curls in their natural coils and cut out one strand at a time like a bonsai tree and it makes it airdry easier and in a better shape and gives you some control of the overall shape. It's awesome. Every curly girl should try it at least once. Lol

I recently did too, and I went through a few synthetic wigs and kept having people notice it wasn’t real. I felt really embarrassed and didn’t want to go in public. I finally decided to buy a human hair wig but couldn’t afford a $100+ one, after lots of amazon searching I found a short bob cut wig that was affordable, and it really put pep back in my step! (The best part is that I could color it with hair color so I got a blonde one, put bleach highlights and darkened the roots to look overgrown)

I know this was more than a month ago, and admittedly it took a lot of searching to find this comment lol. But I had bought a blonde human hair wig from amazon and the seller included a card that said they’d send me a free human hair wig if I left a review on amazon and sent them an email of the review. Well I did that and waited and waited and figured I wasn’t going to get the free wig. But not too long ago I did get one in the mail, but it’s a dark brown wig and I’m still pretending my wig isn’t a wig, so I’d like to give it to someone that would put it to good use. It’s beautiful soft real human hair and a cute short cut. I feel like getting my human hair wig put so much pep into my step even though it was hard to afford. love this video, so satisfying. I do this to my wigs all the time. I just finished making a wig with auburn roots and variations of copper and ginger highlights and lowlights. I recently did another one with a light brown caramel root, medium ash blonde, lightest ash blonde and medium blonde highlights and lowlights and they both turned out so gorgeous. I still like to support other companies by buying there wigs but I love creating my own custom wigs myself and would love to make some for others one day.

There is nothing wrong with subscribing to a KZbinr with different beliefs. Brad Mondo might not be fond of brown hair (he looks good with brown hair though), but I am not very fond of blonde (dyed or bleached blonde not natural blonde). That might be because I do not like my own hair bleached blonde (I'm naturally brunette).
