hold the hose in hot water next time you need to insert the filler, it makes the clear tube more malleable and then it cools and tightens up

Agreed, but perhaps remove 1” from the length of the line so it lays a bit more in unison to shape of the fuel hose? I agree with camera man, it’s a tad too long

this is my favorite build of all time, the 300zx is my child hood dream car, I anxiously wait for every espisode running the fuel tubes parallel looks way better, if there was a nice billet tube clamp/holder than ran them parallel, would like sick lastly when this build is complete I would love to buy everyone lunch and see the car in person. ❤

trick of the trade for hoses that are tight... use a heat gun and warm up the hose and use isopropyl alcohol and goes right on and the iso evaps, boom done! Works really good with push lock/ instagrip hose.

On those fuel hoses I would put a butterfly zip tie clamp to ensure the vent doesn’t drop

easy way to install that clear hose is to dip the end of the hose in hot water for awhile and it will soften it

Next time dealing with a hose dont use lube just dip the end in boiling hot water it makes it very pliable and will be a lot easier 😉

Just a suggestion for next time. Put the end of the fuel pipe into boiling water until it softens up then after it’s on run it under cold water 👌. Ps watching from New Zealand love the work

Always use weld through primer before welding in a piece of sheet metal like that. Those overlaps will rust from the inside out.

The next time you need to put something into a piece of pipe , heat up the pipe with a lighter or torch and the other piece goes in in nice and easy and then mold to the piece you put in.

If you let the vent tube hang it'll vent better because the fumes will be able to go straight up instead of going up and then flat. IMO

You guys should have done a VG30 TT Engine. They aren't that complex anymore and can be simplified and reliable. The SR will run out of steam quick and doesn't match the weight of the car IMO. RB or 2J would be sick. VR6 would be epic. Like the SR but better.
