Apparently the metal Clippers have these features, and the standard plastic ones do not. At the time, I didn't realize this. Sorry this couldn't be of help, thank you for taking the time to watch and comment though!

@@kismitscorner Apparently that's not quite right either because I have a metal one That came in a metal box and it also doesn't have any of that. The screw on the bottom does nothing but secure the inner mechanism to the decorative metal casing. It would appear that they make at least three mechanical variations of these lighters.

Thanks! I thought if I did the "NOT Zippo" thing too much it would get old. Glad you like the intros though, I think it flows nicely and introduces the item(s) in question in a simple to understand manner.

thanx buddy. i was afraid to pick at it. now its usable. mine came from the box with the max setting making only a 1.5 cm flame.... pretty crap when its windy and such. now i can light a smoke in a hurricane :)

It sounds like you may have bad seals, those are really tricky to source and replace, unfortunately the easiest solution would be to get a new lighter.

Sadly not that I am aware of, sorry I couldn't be of help. I believe they are set like BIC lighters

Thats large? Mine are 3 inches regular when fully refilled 80% and higher.

Out of curiosity, what material is the adjustment wheel at the bottom made of? Is it also made from metal?

@@Pyper_the_Viper My torch and soft flame metal lighters have a metal wheel. I can’t imagine an all metal clipper having a plastic wheel unless it’s black like all torches but mine is metal of the same color, icy rainbow chrome. Best torch ever but soft flame jumps constantly just got it😞
