I don't have a horse but I have a dog and a parrot. As animal lovers whatever animal we have we try to give them the best life we can. Its clear to see that Apollo, Farouk and little Icke are very much loved and have happy lives.

I have my three horses and donkey in my three acre pasture...I feel very lucky and grateful to see them every morning when I let them out to graze and every evening when I bring them in for the night...my donkey can hear me in the mornings and she brightens my day with her braying....🤠

Love love love the new paddock!!! It is just beautiful. How wonderful that you no longer have to truck them to a distant one. It is such a blessing to have the room needed to be able to keep your horses with you at all times. Just the idea of being able to relax at home and watch the boys do the same is amazing. What a good boy Apollo is to come immediately when called. And Farouk... lol.... typical Arabian. "I think I'll trot around a bit so you will appreciate it when I finally DO come." ha ha. It took a while, but you finally have everything you need for happy, healthy horses and owners. Congratulations on the official opening of the paddock.

Hi Tara. Lovely to see your beautiful boys in their new turn out paddock, truly Apollo is the dominant horse with Farouk having the good manners to move when Apollo wants his space, I'm sure this will be a great area for you all, especially when you'll be able to look out of your windows and see them so close to home. It was lovely to see you leading them with just a neck rope, they really give you all their trust and love. It's been really humid here in Wales but we are really lucky as we live just down the road from a very lovely beach and seafront and just a few miles away from a very delightful seaside town as well with lots of lovely cafes and walks so are able to get a nice breeze from time to time. We do have really lovely countryside not too far away but have to use the car to access it. Rens seems to really enjoy being with Apollo and Farouk also. By the way loved watching the 24 m endurance ride with Farouk, the low tree was a bit worrying though. Thanks again for sharing. 🙋🏻😎xx

Watching the new paddock videos from start to finish was a lovely journey. My husband did all of our fencing with the same equipment. We were able to buy what was left of my great grandfather’s farm, 15 acres and the barn was built in 1925 by him and my grandfather with a team of draft horses named Old Prince and Young Prince. We put a new metal roof on and had it painted. Close enough to the house so we always see and hear what the horses are doing. Since the paddock is attached they go in and out when they please. Watching the start of this video, husband peering over & said " what's a pluck test ?" Tara then replied right on cue, just like you were in the room with us !! Tara, thank you for sharing the latest measures. It is hard to believe that Apollo is only 2 inches taller than Farourk! Oh, and BRAVO for the crafty way you coaxed Farourk into giving up his grass time by applying a little horse psychology. Had a right fit of giggles when Farourk figured out that Apollo is more comforting than the pasture...and that Apollo was getting to eat his oats back in the barn. As WtP would say "oh bother, I don't want to miss out on the honey".

All of the preparation to get the paddock ready has really paid off. How lovely it is to see them frolicking at home! I do not own a horse but a friend of mine does and she recently cleared some land (removed trees etc) at home for an agility course and turn out area. She is really enjoying the new area.

I kept expecting one of them to roll! Too busy eating! What a relaxing day. Apollo seemed to do more trotting around. We would turn our horses out after long riding or workout sessions. They calmed down faster it seemed. It was always enjoyable watching them versus how they were in the meadow. It's so enjoyable having horses! Eva

Aw Tara what a beautiful sight they are, they are good buddies, they chat to each other all the time don't they, nodding heads twitching ears and litle swishing of their tails, I know they want to swish flies away but they also chat that way too don't they, I can see that they like their new paddock bless them, they're good boys, little Ike making sure you put Apollo in properly, him and the horses seem happy together aswel, this weather is getting to my dogs at the moment I have to put the fan on for them, I call it the windy and they know what I'm saying, the two little ones get their hair cut but Tilly the Beagle doesn't and she has a dense coat, I've tried putting a wet towel down to help keep her cool but she won't go on it, needless to say she doesn't like a bath either, lol, she's old bless her yet she has patience with the youngsters, well I say youngsters but they're coming on eight, anyhow Tara you have a great day with your family and enjoy this beautiful weather, hugs to you all and little Ike and the boys too xxxxx

Oh I love it!!! 🤗🤗🤗 the boys do too! Apollo seemed to me like he understood this was something quite exciting. He was a bit skittish like he was thrilled to be home and also loose in a paddock. Hi Tara , I used to have two ponies when I was younger instead now I have lots of dogs 😁We have two golden retrievers and a working cockerspanial , my youngest daughter has just got a beautiful cockerpoo 💕 So as you can imagine I'm kept busy . Yes Apollo is the dominant horse but he’s taught all his good temperament qualities to Farouk such as not being silly and being calm and having horse manners. They are wonderful “brothers”. Love the paddock! I love how you look after the horses very much as I used to my own though I would have still learned a lot from you. I never used to wash off but brush out when dried and mine were also shiney like glass. A lot less hard work to wash off I think now - haaa💁🏻‍♀️
