Turning a leg without a lathe Hack. The Houses Built Tiny way

A customer asked me to cut a block 3 and 7/8 by 3 and 7/8 by 3 and 7/8 and wanted me to just screw it to the bottom of the back of his beautiful dresser. Somehow the fourth leg was lost or damaged but it was no longer there. I just can't do things that way. And I don't have a lathe I would love one one day maybe. But I do have a drill press and a couple of Sharp Tools and a creative mind so check out how we did this. The bit that I used to go through the center of the block went about three quarters of an inch through the bottom end of the block and sat Loosely in a 5/8 inch nut. And believe it or not that nut never got hot :-). Maybe I don't need a lathe after all? Either way I just thought I would entertain you please don't try this Hack at home.
