Is there a specific torch to use to make that blueish so perfect?

Great video.What kind of grinder wheel and wire wheel did you use? I may give this a try.
@kieranmacca93703 жыл бұрын
I used a “flap disc” and just a standard wire wheel. If I was going to do it again I’d use a die grinder and a “flap wheel” then finish with a scotchbrite wheel. Would leave a much smoother finish.

@@kieranmacca9370 ok thank you very much, I've been wanting to do this but was unsure how it could be done without gouging the pipe up with a grinding wheel, ill give it a shot and keep you posted.

@@kieranmacca9370 I got a wire wheel and some flap disks with 60 grit and 120 grit. what grit did you use for you project.
@kieranmacca93703 жыл бұрын
@@jeremiebrashear8388 only use the 120 grit, 60 will be too rough. Start in an area that won’t be seen to test how much grinding it will take. The moment you see sparks you are down to the metal. It doesn’t take much

do you have to sand it down and do all that stuff ?

mines a brand new pipe with one ride on it that’s why

If you want to remove the nickel plating to make it a “raw” finish then yes. I probably wouldn’t do that to a new pipe though.
