Such a beautiful country with even more beautiful hearted people. There's so much to observe and learn from how they take care of others while going through so many difficulties BUT YOU CAN REALLY feel how much they genuinely love to jump in to help even total strangers. Singapore should write protocols for the rest of the world. ❤❤❤

It is heart wrenching to know that the hotel personnels, our medical teams and many others are willing to give their best to help and touch the lives of those who are affected during this very hard times in Singapore. All these personnels have their loved ones too. All the more our government and citizens must appreciate these different groups. Render them our cheers, support in kind and in spirit.
@johnwig2853 жыл бұрын
The citizens dont care. They needed measures and govt intervention for cases to reduce. Without fines, Singapore would've had many cases and deaths because ppl simply needed a fear motivator i.e. fines instead of the simple fact that Covid can result in deaths for some, to actually abide by recommended measures

All those serving SHN are swabbed predeparture, post arrival and on top of that, 3 ARTs while in the hotel. Most of them are vaccinated as well. So the chances of hotel staffs getting infected from the residence is very minimal. Nevertheless, appreciate your sacrifice. Me currently doing SHN. I know how much helpful you guys are.
@rannikumari80753 жыл бұрын
Hats off to these people.. People are traveling in emergency case to their country, returning back to Singapore as so difficult. With travel history of 21 days, predeparture test, serve SHN 14 days, , on arrival test, 3 ART test, PCR test. It's lot of expenses and mental stress on people returning to Singapore.

I want to feedback on the air flow control of such hotels. AT least there should be windows that can be opened. I don't trust the aircon ventilation system in such rooms, unless their windows can be opened to allow free air in and stale air out. This can be a mode of transmission if the previous QO person was positive and stayed in the room before.

Moving ahead, With the demand increases, govt should consider establishing quarantine centres with charges. Can have those simple but free of charge facilities for the lower income group, and those with charges at different rates for people who are willing to pay for better facilities.

FYI, this is also done in many countries in Asia. Jakarta do this from the beginning for covid-19 patients without symptoms, because the hospitals are already full with patients with symptoms. Local governments in some other cities in Indonesia also provide hotel rooms for medical workers who don't want to go home out of their family's safety. These are done during the height of pandemic.
