Maybe that is why my mum and Bro become positive. Imagine my parents are transported on Public transport, more people wll be infected. Parents are vaccinated and are hospitalised for more than 20days. after 8 days, unfortunately my mum transfered to ICU and still being treated there on critical condition. The Nurses and Doctors in NCID is extremely great. They are very dedicated and gentle. May Lord Bless them and Keep them safe.

Sorry to hear about your situation and I wish your family members will recover soon. Your situation is an example that the Home Recovery is never a good idea. Higher chances of transmitting the virus and putting more stress to the medical resources.
@pgobservers3 жыл бұрын
Your Dad should have listened to the ambulance guys and avoid going to A&E as the virus load at A& E environment is super potent and toxic unless it is life threatening situations. Having fever is just the normal body reaction to the infection for vaccinated people. By going to A&E it is like drowning the person whose body is already busy fighting the initial virus and making things worse. Normal outpatient or private clinics will be better in treating fever or if the patient is wise enough to self medicate Panadol and monitor for sign of breathlessness on top of using oximeter.

I feel fortunate to have these healthcare workers willing to take this post during this period which is a risky job for any human. It's clear that SG goal is towards endemic, but I hope Gov can consider giving the public a chance to participate and think of a better way to manage this whole situation while opening up border. This is to ensure healthcare workers are not strained. It's clear that MTF planning was not well thought through when they claim hospital has enough facility to scale up but did not factor in the manpower. I remember PM Lee's speech, "We are in this together", but are we really? There are better ways we could contribute besides being social responsible and limit our social activity. Gov should open up to the citizen to hear what ideas they have based on their experiences. Many of us are educated in this generation, definitely an expert in our own field, so I am sure someone could voice out an important key to contribute to this endemic management. Having a mindset thinking this is not feasible for whatever reasons will only shut the door for opportunities to come.

I am wondering what is so unusual about the surge in the cases within a short window! With the implementation of the Home Recovery plan, many more people will be HIGHLY exposed to the virus in enclosed environment and how strictly the infected person follow the rules will further worsen the condition. It will be so stupid for the task force if they never expect this to happen. So sorry guys, expect more to come and all thanks to the brilliant policies implemented by our "SMART" task force.
