Very nice. I have watched several times. Hoping to give a disc shaped vase a try.

Good project. Since you have the mic on why not talk to us. I enjoy listening to turners talking about what they are doing.

Wayne I knew someone would eventually ask this question. Ok the answer is a bit long so please bear with me. The illness that caused the nerve damage also caused some brain damage. I suffer from a condition called brain fogging which means I forget how to physically say random words until someone else says them. As an example I could want a pencil but cannot remember how to say pencil but could ask you for the thing you write with that has lead in it. I was a station officer and instructor in the fire service and mid lecture forgot how to say the word ladder, not fun believe me. That and the fact I was acting very unlike myself and could no longer trust my own decisions plus a few other physical sides to the condition is what led to me voluntarily retiring on medical grounds. I could very easily forget how to say the word lathe or the word wood mid video which would ruin the entire thing so I decided to use captions. I hope that explains why I don't give a commentary as I am turning. You may also notice that there are quite a lot of transitions in my videos, this again is down to the illness. Sometimes I can turn for about half an hour than have to take a break.

Wayne I meant to ask, is the new font colour easier for you to read?
