Veterinary technician here - check the storage temperature on the injectables. Most items are labeled for storage up to the high 70s and should not be stored higher (or lower than the low end). This is for the chemistry of the product itself but also the container/vial it's stored in.

Clint your the man 🤘🏻🤘🏻 I hope to come and check your place out some time soon and film it to share with everyone. I film a bit of all my projects but I recently moved to a bigger place so I haven’t put up anything new recently but will very soon I have my laptop full of footage of the move and building some new enclosures. Soon I’ll be posting daily like before I just finished one of the reptile rooms yesterday and have bunch of new projects in the works now. Well I hope you have a great day bud and wish you and your family the best and hope you have a great new year 🙋‍♂️✌️

"How do you clean rust off of an epoxy floor?" Epoxy artist here, either sand it off, and recoat it, or use WD40. Spray on, let sit for a little while, scrub off with non-abrasive sponge. Goo gone is excellent, too, but for rust specifically, I've never run into anything more effective than WD-40.

Yeah and roughly half of their staff replace his feelings of awkwardness and being so quiet. Vicki playing a game and eating lunch is no exception, but there's also a whole joke whenever Emily or ed puts the camera on anyone they'll run away if they're too awkward or shy. They don't do that anymore there's also the feeling of, "oh hello didn't see you there" then, the mental picture of the meme, "this is fine". So good and so bad at the same time! 😂 I'll never get tired of that feeling.

I messaged my nine year old to tell him there was a new video and, as always seems to be the case, the was soon massive yells of "YEAH!" that could be heard through the house. He then came to me almost in tears of joy afterwards because he had been convinced he'd never be able to see this kind of thing without miraculously being allowed into the back. Thank you for helping taking a kid that was once terrified of most things and turning him into one that is waiting (semi)patiently for warmer weather so he can make the trek to visit y'all. I've seen him blossom into a good keeper through your example and take enough interest/study towards one day owning his own ball python that I've little doubt in his capabilities there. Can't wait to see more videos and hearing first hand from him someday soon on how Snake Discovery is like.

I am the sole proprietor of a vending machine business. I find old vending machines all the time when I am servicing machines for my customers. Most of the time they give me their old machines and I try my best to re-purposed them. Sometimes I can rebuild them And others, I find all kinds of uses for. For example, I use one machine as my business safe. The locks on those vending machines are nearly impossible to get open and they are very large. So I didn’t pay anything for my save that no one can open or carry off. I love the way you repurpose, this refrigeration unit. I only have a little bit of advice I can offer, the next time you find something like this, and you need to clean it. It may be prudent to rent a bead blaster that uses a little plastic beads to sandblast all the dirt and rust away. It leaves a really clean surface and takes all the muscle work out of it. Sometimes you can get a really good deal on one and if you plan on doing a lot of these restorations, it may be prudent to purchased one. I use them all the time for many different projects. It’s not a sandblaster, it uses little plastic beads instead. I even have a few glass front machines that are not in use right now. They are just sitting around and I am thinking I may turn them into snake habitats. The idea is awesome because they are glass front and lock a wall. With a little modification, the temperature can be controlled as well. Underneath there can be storage for many different items. Pop machines are great for safes and glass. Front snack machines are great for snake habitats.

Nice 👍 and great idea for an incubator. I’ve turned camping coolers into incubators and they work great for quick and easy to make incubators. I have couple videos on them but my next one I’m in the process of transforming is a wine fridge with clear glass door. I’ll definitely make a video on that one as well if your interested in watching or want to know how to do it as well. Eventually I’ll be doing a bigger incubator like yours as well because soon my other monitors will be breeding age but for now my smaller incubators are just big enough for the few clutches I get every year. I recently just got another clutch of Savannah monitor eggs and plenty more to come. I mainly specialize in breeding species that others aren’t having success with so that I can put my knowledge to good use and hopefully help others have success as well. I hope everyone at snake discovery has a great day and wish you all the best 🙌 I always enjoy watching your videos there always educational and entertaining so keep up the great work 🙋‍♂️✌️

@@Sheytopia That makes sense. Are they built that way to help with sliding from front to back? That makes the most sense in my head.

@@aidenwallin3523 exactly. Also if you look closely you can see that the shelve Ed used had a little plastic lip on the right side which I guess is supposed to be the front. Those are usually there to prevent breaking anything from knocking things against the metal bars.

Ingenuity at its finest. I went to a distillery where their mash tanks were actually old ketchup and mustard manufacturing vats. Got the job done! Hopefully I can make it to y'all's area soon to look at trh zoo.

I wonder how long it will take for the breeding program to overflow even this incubator? 😂 At least they kept the quail incubator to tie them over while sourcing and setting up a new unit.

Snake soda! Pop the lid and it goes "HSSsssssss!" Will the fans and vents give really good air circulation even when the incubator is quite full? I spent a miserable couple of months trying to maintain consistent temperatures in a setup quite similar to what you've got, with a temperature sensor in the middle and heaters around the outside. When a cool item was placed beside the sensor, the system cranked up the heaters, and because its air circulation was poor, it took a long time for the sensor to warm up. Everything near the heaters got badly overheated. When the wave of heat finally rolled over the sensor, the heaters shut down, so everything around the outside got cold until the cold finally reached the sensor. Repeat. My job was, essentially, to sit alone in the little room, watching the oven bake, and trying to second-guess its temperature controller by tweaking its settings every half or 3/4 hour.

This is a great idea for repurposing one of those stand alone drink coolers. It's just about the perfect enclosure to use for this, insulated, easy access, even a place to hide all the wiring with the compressor removed.

I noticed the white grates were put in parallel to the door when Ed showed they don't fit, but the new grates were put in perpendicular to the door. So maybe the white grates did fit after all.

Depending on what the label on the injectable say. (The keeping temp as already mentioned). Small amounts can be drawn up in to syringes as normal and then held in the hand to warm for a few minutes.... I use single use predrawn saline for myself and it has a protective wrapper so I often put them in my pocket to warm while sorting other bits.
