Handy gadget. Re. Sanding better would be to use hdpe bushings along with your TBC adaptors. No damage to blank and if doing CA finish it won't gum up your centres or worse glue the blank to the centres.

So, this is ONLY to avoid buying a pen mandrel then, yes?

It lets you turn between centers while using any type of bushing that would normally fit on a 7mm mandrel
