What kind of transmitter and receiver do you run because I'm having problems getting signal inside my my carbon-fiber Pursuit

That's strange that you can't get good signal. I just use my spektrum DX4C

With carbon you have to make sure the antenna sticks out as far as it can out of the hull. Carbon won't allow the signal to travel from inside.
