1)Congratulations on your KZbin victories! 2)Give yourself grace. Tell yourself what you would most likely tell a friend if they were in your shoes. 3) I love the idea of making my space something to shop. I am the queen of forgetting what I have because I cannot see it! 4) God bless you and thank you for all your effort.

OOh, great tip about the seam ripper. I need to keep one in the kitchen! Taking off some seals around jars is tough. I just took some faux flowers that I never use, from a storage closet and plan to donate them to our local thrift shop. Oh, thanks too about the Disabled artists foundation. I want to donate some craft supplies to them. Your shelves look great and I believe in seeing items too.

This is great, Noreen! I am so happy for you that you have rediscovered your creativity by reorganizing. I will pray for your dad. My family and I went through this with our dad years ago. He was in and out of the hospital for over 7 months and we felt so helpless as we watched him get worse instead of better. At the end, he finally found peace and all of his children were there to kiss him goodbye. He had a full life and the sepsis was literally draining the life out of him. Don't give up hope. If dad had gotten help sooner, I think he would still be alive and enjoying life today. I pray God's blessings on you and your family. Bless your dad by making something specifically for him. Even if he can't keep it in his hospital room, have someone take your picture with it and print it out. He will look at your smiling face and see your love for him in your eyes. In that way, your creativity will be a testament to him as well as to you! God bless. Cathy from Virginia

So glad to see you. Praying for you & your Dad. My other half went thru (still going on ) similar (infection, antibiotics, made him sicker, could not eat, etc.) from late April to September of 2022! 3 hospitalizations 2 stays in nursing homes one trip home & back to hosp. finally came home for good in late Sept. I am his ONLY caregiver...total exhaustion does not begin to describe! Tried to do ONE sympathy card...could never finish😢. He is FINALLY getting better and able to eat, but it is VERY slow going. My own health has taken a hit from all this, but prayers keep me going. Hang in there girlfriend! B. Sims, Michigan

Welcome back!!! Missed you! Your Dad is a real fighter; wow, 77 days. May he heal and be able to come home! And may you be able to feel okay that your energy and attention have been diverted; it's a wonderful thing you're doing. 😇You'll come back to us as you can, and we know this. I'm one of those who can't seem to cope with "putting things away" because honestly, if I can't see it, it doesn't exist. My storage has to be clear or at least translucent. Always trying to figure out how to make everything work properly. My dream is one of those "DreamBox" craft cabinets but for now I'm just using plastic storage units. I'll get there. 😊And oh my, I went to the Dollar Tree and bought those 2.5 gallon storage bags. What a difference they make in my scrapbook paper storage!! It's my favorite tip from you. Thanks!!!

LOVE what you did with your studio! I too have my room set up like a "store;" I want everything out and inspiring me. I've been told it's too much and the folks who like to squirrel away all their goodies definitely find my look a bit jarring. But for me I like to SEE all my pretties (why hide them away, they're beautiful). I sent you some pictures of my space. I designed and built my own shelving. The first picture is my favorite piece; it is 6 ft tall and 6ft wide. The peg boards on the shelf are actually two doors that lift up and hide my not-so-pretty supplies like adhesive. I love your studio it always looks so perfectly organized! I'm so sorry to hear about your dad, he is in my prayers.

I love your craft space Norine! I know that if I can't see it, well, I'm not gonna use it, right? Yup. But then again I can have only so much "stuff" in the open. I'm in a mobile home & my craft/computer room is rather small & shared with a stand up freezer. But I'm trying to have visible what I would use most often. It's always a work in progress, isn't it? It sure is for me. Prayers to your Dad & hope they can get him settled. Be well, be safe & TYFS

I'm so sorry for your situation. I can see why you're exhausted. I pray your dad will kick that sepsis. I love the "store" idea. I've tried both ways, but it's usually "out of sight, out of mind" for me. If it's not within reach of where I sit and craft, I don't use it or forget I have it! I've tried labeling everything! I still am looking for a solution. If I put everything out and in sight like you did, I would run out of room! And yes, I've looked for a couple of things for years, finally replaced them, and then found them in the most unlikely place!

Still praying for you, your dad, and your family. Sorry he’s still having a really difficult time. I am an out of sight out of mind person and I desperately need to get my crafts and my whole house organized. It was after Valentine’s Day before I got my nativity scene down in my yard, and sadly haven’t put away what little Christmas decorations I had in my living room. But between having Covid for Christmas and rebound Covid for New Year’s, a nephew with stage 4 stomach cancer and the depression that has brought on, a husband with two bouts of gout in a month brought on by worsening kidney function, I really don’t care if it’s sitting there waiting for next Christmas. I do what I can when I can and I’m not going to beat myself up over it anymore.

Way to go! Good job on the re-organization. I have to admit I would do that too. Out of sight - out of mind. There was a day I could remember all I had, but I find it's easier to have it staring me in the face now. So sorry to hear your dad is still ailing so. Pray for a swift recovery and that some of life can get back to normal soon. So hard when our parents go through this. I am almost 74 and I lost both my parents when they were 70 (five years apart) and I was only in my 40's. In many ways it was hard, but in others I feel I was spared seeing them struggle in later years. Don't beat yourself up and do take the time to be with him. May the Lord bless you all.

The "store" idea would work great for me as I need to see what I have, or I will just go out and buy it since I don't remember having it in the first place. I'm already working on obtaining workspace furniture that will allow me to see what I have for the current project I'm working on. Layout for my shed has been drawn out and I hope to have a comfy and creative space once I'm done. I have decided to cut some crafting interests out of my hobby since I seem to have FINALLY settled on at least 3 types of crafting to do full time. I have a friend who has a teenage daughter who is autistic and has her very own art shed. I am gifting her my canvases and any art supplies that I would have used for drawing. She will be overjoyed. Thank you for everything you do and don't worry about us. We will always be here when you return. Family should always come first! Prayers going up for your dad.

I went through a five year struggle with serious life threatening illness, two major surgeries and my daughter had three surgeries to repair a soccer injury at the same time, during her sisters senior year. If you need some encouragement let me know. But please don’t beat yourself up. My crash was a result of overdoing and thinking I was responsible for everything and everyone. That ended wit a staycation in the ICU. You don’t want that. Remember to take care of yourself too.

Take the time you need to care for family. You are very important to us 💕💕💕💕

Norinne, please be kind to yourself. Take the advice you’d give to your best friend for yourself. You can do what you can do. Your time needs to be with your family. When you are able, do a video. We will always be here for you. You and your family are in my prayers.❤😺

I absolutely am right there with you with decorations from Christmas. Valentine' say all of the things spread out and visually in a funk. I have rewatched lots of your videos and organization and crafts. I love the things you do and come up with. They're so brilliant you are a beautiful person inside an out prayers for your father's recovery. From the struggling Mamma in South Carolina. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and God bless.

Norrine, I am so glad to see a video from you! Mama asked me about you recently, & I said I hadn't heard/seen anything from or about you. I'm so sorry you are going through what you are with your dad. My dad was sick for a few years before he died from a degenerative brain disease, & Mama & I were his primary caretakers. So I know it is NOT easy! Anyway, I send boatloads of hugs your way!!! I'm glad you were able to straighten & rearrange your craft area. It is good that you have that place to decompress & escape for a while. I hope you & your daughters are holding up, and that your dad will turn a corner in a positive way soon. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)

Norrine, wonderful video, shopping in your own space for items to craft with and make! I’ll check out “Barefoot and Freckled “. Thanks for the update on your father. Please give yourself grace and continue to focus on your father and family, this is your dance right now. You will be back to us with your creative crafts and fantastic attitude soon in the next dance, all part of your journey of life! ❤

Yep I keep finding Christmas decorations around the house. Your space looks great! Sorry about you dad still having health problems. Between my husband and myself we have 3 parents who are having very big and devastating health problems. With all 3 on the other side of the state it makes every hour with them intentional. Those minutes and hours are precious as are the memories that we are making. Miss seeing your new videos. Your hair looks great! ❤Keeping you and your dad in my prayers.
Where are they now and how did my DIY projects hold up!!!!
