So cool! I love digging in pre-1920 dumps, because almost all of the clear glass will turn purple. You can take a common, not so desirable bottle & make it shelf-worthy by turning it a beautiful shade of of amethyst/purple! Keep us updated on how they’re turning, good luck!! 👍

That is so awesome! That was a lot of work! Would love to see what that looks like from the air! Nevermind, just saw at the end! Oops on the landing! Some of the partial purples would be from being half buried when found. Full purpled would have been on the surface The only weather you would have to worry about there is very large hail which is not very likely up there. Torrential downpour would just easily run off of all that. Unlikely a deer would walk through that. Wouldn’t feel right for footing so they skirt around hopefully. I’d be more worried being seen from the highway. Going to look awesome when they’re done in a few years! ATB and happy hunting!
@Adventurous4Life3 жыл бұрын
Thanks 😄😄 and ya Jay brought his old drone, he hasn't flown it in like 2 years soooo, oops lol!!! And ya laege hail isnt very common at all. Never seen anything large living up here! Heres hopping nothing bad happens to them 😄😄 although Jay has had other purples out on this rock 2 different years now. Not this many but enough lol! Once the leaves get on the trees you cant see anything, and the house is right next to it with cameras. I'd hope no one would try taking them. But hey some not so reputable characters around soooo... FYI, it's takes many years for glass to turn purple naturally. Plus you live in Canada where the sunrays are not that strong and the winters are harsh and severe and those bottles will get damaged from the ice, snow and cold. But if you lived in Florida it would be a different story. Good luck.
