I'm curious, how many coasters can you make in a day? Or better question, if you mix the pre-ground plastic together from start to finish how long do the three coasters take to make?
@jtsmeth44113 жыл бұрын
Hey brothers make, I'm really liking y'all guys project, really beautiful stuff, i just one question, how much did plastic preneur machines cost?
@BrothersMake3 жыл бұрын
Depending on the grade of HDPE we are using, a full hopper takes between 5-9 minutes to melt. Then maybe 2 minutes to inject and refill. The demoulding can be done whilst the next batch is melting to save time, so roughly 10 minutes for 3 coasters. All our colours are pre mixed, we just did one from scratch for this video ☺️☺️

Been a fan of plastic for a long time, Built the Granulator that Precious plastics designed. Never been used. Just after building it i had to move and its been in storage for the past 4 years. Still collecting HDPE, Now I'm thinking it's time to do something with it.
@jhsevs3 жыл бұрын
My situation is the same. I've moved multiple times, started studies, finished studies, started a company, got into trouble with being scammed, lost motivation, stopped the company, regained motivation, and now I'm looking for a job so I can afford a place to live and not feel like shit. I really hope I find the time to start recycling again.

Hi, this is exactly the kind of thing I was thinking of, using these on a more extensive basis such as bathroom, mosaic tiles or splashback. Do these work/hold in grout or how would that work? Has anyone asked about using these as bricks and whether there is a substance that can be used to hold them in place if they are suitable. Not very fire safe I would imagine
@barbarahallowell2613 Жыл бұрын
I think you'd want onside to have some grooves, or not be smooth so they can grab the mastic when tiling. Other than that I don't see how they wouldn't work.
