@@wanderingvagrant1551 the buff stacks 3 times for the first predatory instincts, and then 2 more times for every predatory instincts you pick up For each crit hit you deal, you gain +1 of the buff, which gives you 12% attack speed, with one stack of predatory instincts, this buff can go up to 3x giving you 36% Pick up another predatory instincts and this buff can go up to 5x giving you 60% attack speed, so on, so forth

The other thing is that if you have pred and scythe, you only need 9 glasses to hit 100% because the first pred and first scythe add +5% each (only the first one, all extras don’t affect crit)

Dunno if anyone has brought this up, but as far as I know, attack speed is hard capped by the game's engine at around 60 attacks per second (there may be some leeway depending on the survivor)

Heres another idea: If you have the mods "drop-in multiplayer" and "quick restart" then you can start as vanilla Heretic without heresy items! I beat it on Monsoon, it's a hard start but a fun challenge. The vanilla game also tracks the Eclipse levels on Heretic for some reason, so you can try going all the way to Eclipse 8 if you dare.

To actually start as Heretic you need to start any run, then type "/join heretic" in chat, and go to the character select from the pause menu

You need a Kjaro band proc to skip phase 4, from what i remember

You can actually skip with anything you just need to be super lucky cause you have to damage mithrix on the very first frame he spawns in, kjaros band does damage every tick so it's the most consistent way
