It seems that y'all's content is getting harsher and harsher. And that's a very good thing.

ya... so happy to see content that is actually interesting and not another "ping rings through reverb so pretty."

Very neat ideas about feedback with FX, broadening my concept’s to apply in modular and hardware doesn’t happy everyday. Thanks ❤

Always good to see feedback presented and explore. It's such a weird alive world at times and just all out filth at other times.

Feedback and drones is why I stepped into the semi modular and modular world... last night I was just creating one well of an ear splitting noise scape... cheers!

Man you seriously took reverb and turned it into all the sounds in Event Horizon. I love it.

This was fantastic! I'm really enjoying the more recent videos covering more noisy sources of inspiration. I'd love to see more around feedback and feedback loops in the modular realm as well.

is there any way to make your feedback slowly swell into the note that u want?

Compression is a really great tool for this.

I've found that 90's DoD pedals just somehow always end up in my feedback loops. In particular the "Lamb" series (Meatbox, Corrosion , Punkifier, Death Metal, etc) and the eq pedals. The meatbox transforms anything, but especially noisey feedback loops, into subharmonic chaos. Purchases of two or more of these pedals should come in a package deal with a folding table.

The Death Metal is the greatest thing, I have the Digitech version. The second output feels like they knew it was going to be a harsh noise machine. Who was going straight into the board playing Death Metal in the 90's? The "mixer" output is solely for running it in feedback loops, there's no other explanation.

what can be super-fun is simply to run samples you've acquired through a chop/slice effect ( i use the Boss SL-20, but any square wave processing thingy will do the trick ), effect it with the reverb(s) of your choice, and then send it back into the sampler for re-sampling goodness -the exact same concept as 2:12. thanks for the fun video and easy, knowledgeable delivery. yesterday's signal path, outside at the garden work table: sampler > chopper > reverb > return ( JamMan Stereo > SL-20 > NightSky > return )

4:02 They really missed an opportunity by not giving the light pedal some Eurorack connectivity, CV control in and outputs, effects insert into the feedback path, i would prefer the Erica Synths Spring Reverb for stuff like this. (Or the Doepfer)

You know what is neat? The Earthquaker Afterneath module. Turning the Reflect and Length up puts the module in self-oscillation. Add V/O signal into drag and set scale in Mode and now this reverberation effect is an oscillator. Even the shape can be slightly adjusted. Like a triangle to square/trapezoid. Doesn't have a huge range, maybe 2 or 3 octaves if I recall, but the different scales are fun for quantizing analog sequencers. IMO Afterneath is one of those pedals that feels "unlocked" in the eurorack sphere. Really cool design!

i even throw in an old Digitech RDS-8OOO. Sampling delay and my old Boss RDD-1O’s Into an old Vintage Sansui Stereo Spring Reverb... (separate springs for left & right channels, essentially it is a dual spring reverb...lol) Fed by my 1984 Kramer and me E-bow as opposed to physically manipulating the strings....
