I was eager ro click. Sincerely & Respectfully, *It's contemporarily nice and I trust well done given their professional credentials* and I must say I'm taken aback how the aesthtics for the chacrater of the city wasn't kept up. Even more shocked how plans have been approved postKatrina.

I like that the house looks lived in, it feels like a home; not so polished and clean to where it looks sterile and untouched and more for show. great design.

they've had to put limits in older neighborhoods in the Twin Cities and suburbs because of this exact situation: buying a small home in an older neighborhood, either tearing it down or as-good-as, and building a huge house that "captures" all the "solar exposure" and casts shade on all the house and gardens/yards around it. Nice for them, completely ruins the living space for those around them.

Note to self: In your next life, become or marry an architect.

Good note but few architects actually get to design their own homes. The profession in practice is not as lucrative as one would imagine

Very LA home, as in Los Angeles... not a bad thing, but looks out of place in New Orleans.
