But if they're rare and desirable enough, in the future their price might rise up dramatically. Old official rally cars go that way too, unusually cheap when sold off, tens of years later they're collector grade

Yeah thats how you play against them, Formula Mazda doesn't have any power at all so if you go defend mode on them then they cant do anything because they dont have enough power to overtake you from outside.

I really wish Forza had the Daytona NASCAR variant, it’s much more aggressive, less drag, way WAY more top speed, it looks better. It sucks that there isn’t :(

Been watching a few of these now and the Off Track penalties are a laugh in this game. Better than nothing of course compared to other racing series, but seriously, this would probably start to annoy me very quickly when I was driving clean and others were just over-cutting one corner and flying out of the next one.

Question: why are you shifting at 7000rpm when redline is at 8?

Because the engine loses a lot of power beyond 7000rpm. Redlining doesn't mean it is optimal.

If you're like me and intend to play it mostly single player or for the career then I can't recommend at this point. The career is uninspired and repetitive. The AI is terrible, they either crash into you as if you aren't there or they seemd to get scared of your proximity and drive off the track. The driving itself is great though, time attacking is probably my favourite thing in the game right now.

It’s a good racing game, but there are a limited selection of cars, no new modes, very lack luster single player, and few races apart from the touring, gt, and specific class races which rotate each week

The 200mph tuning is just on sport suspension, sport gearbox and all on power. It doesn't have much adjustable parts.

The camshaft upgrades don't actually increase the powerband that much, so you are much faster between 4,000-7000

Originally it's meant to keep the Charger Daytona planted at high speeds for the irl car. It was able to hit 200 mph thanks to the front nose and the wing in a time where most other cars of it's class are probably going 150, 160, 170, 180, etc.
