Ah man awesome comment and awesome to see that this is what I’m aiming for on the channel , like yourself I’m a hobbyist or should I say an enthusiast! So hobbyist first and then channel second , as you said I wanted to show people and be transparent on how the hobby has made me and the channel grow that’s my main goal it’s a vlog of were we all start to were it takes us . It’s genuinely made me a better person and I’ve met amazing people along the way , it’s saved me from myself if that makes sense . As for the build man yeah it’s epic and really how I think the notorious should have had treatment wise . Thanks once again Kurt buddy for watching and commenting it means a lot . Stay awesome buddy Chris 🤙👊🚀🤩😎💪🤘🫡

Such a good build chris!! Always loved the notorious! Also you workshop is really coming along! Well done you deserve it i absolutely love your videos and i love that you go into some detail rather than just sending them nose first into the ground😂👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Thank you so much for the kind words! 😊 I’m really glad you’re enjoying the build-it means a lot to hear that, especially coming from a fellow Notorious fan! It’s such an awesome truck to work on, and turning it into the EXB version that Arrma never gave us has been a dream come true. The workshop has definitely been a labor of love, so it’s great to hear you’re noticing the progress! Having a dedicated space to tinker and get into the details makes all the difference. And haha, I’ll admit, while I do love the occasional nose dive for entertainment, I’m all about diving into the nitty-gritty of builds and upgrades to really bring out the best in these RCs. Thanks again for the support-it’s awesome to have viewers like you who appreciate both the fun and the details. Stay tuned for more builds, and keep enjoying the hobby! 🚗💥 Stay awesome Chris ;)

Thanks so much for the kind words and support-it really means a lot! Sounds like we’re on the same page with the Notorious; it’s such an incredible truck, and those M2C and Vitavon upgrades really take it to the next level. I love seeing others who appreciate the shine and strength of those parts too-they’re just next-level quality. Keep rocking your build, and thanks again for watching and being part of the channel! ❤ Stay awesome Chris :)

Awesome build. Understand completely why you chose the V5. Might as well save a few bucks if you're going to replace things anyway. I did the same with a used Kraton V5. A combination of EXB, V6, Adu and M2C parts. A beast and for less than the new V6. I also like the S665 and have one in my Kraton. Works well and much cheaper than others. Also slowly replacing all the 3S vehicles with the S652. Same reason. You mentioned the RPM wing mount. Mine came with a broken one on it. Check out 3DRC. For the Kraton but, should fit your NOTO. It's flexible. Beat the snot out of it last summer and fall. Still going and haven't even broken the wing. Lost control WOT, upside down and backwards, and that wing planted itself into the yard like a scoop shovel. Huge divot. It's fine. Super impressed. Also using their motor support. Pretty sure that's saved me some teeth. Lol. Check them out. Just trying to help. Can't wait to watch the video of you bashing this thing.

Thanks so much for the kind words and for sharing your build journey-it sounds like your Kraton V5 is an absolute beast! 💪 I completely agree with your approach-if you’re planning to upgrade most parts anyway, why not save a bit on the base truck? Sounds like we’re on the same wavelength with building tough rigs without breaking the bank. I’m with you on the S665 servo-it’s such a solid performer for the price. I’ve been super impressed with how it holds up under pressure, and the S652 is a great choice for the 3S vehicles too. Bang for the buck all the way! Thanks for the tip about 3DRC. That wing mount story is wild-I can’t believe it held up after a WOT upside-down crash like that. 😲 I’ll definitely check them out, especially if their motor supports are that reliable. Always appreciate good recommendations that come from personal experience! I’m glad you’re excited for the bashing video-can’t wait to give this thing a proper test and see how it holds up to the punishment. Stay tuned, and thanks again for the support and great advice! 👍

The workshop is coming along very nicely ,top job. With the diffs, you can also shim the input pinion gear to engage the whole length of the teeth on the crown wheel , doing that can also take out some of the play against the diff so you need less shim there (if you have to put several shims in it can make the bearing on that side heat up), it will be more of an issue on the plastic cases im sure the meatal ones are better tolerance , very tidy build chis !
@ChriswithaCrc9 күн бұрын
Hey there buddy , wow thanks for the comment on the workshop yeah it’s coming along nicely fingers crossed I’ll have it nailed in a few weeks then just to make it look my own . As for the shimming yes sure I’m aware of that but the vitavon cases seem to push the input towards to crown gear as my design . So your adjustments come from the bearing side . I think I’ll do a shimming video soon to help others out , people like myself and you don’t need it but others might find it very useful don’t you think bud ? Thanks for tbe kind comment on the build also very happy how this one’s coming out so fingers crossed a few more little bits then we’re done with it 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 Only time left to treat it like it’s meant to and to the moon 🌙 Stay awesome buddy Chris 🤙🚀👊🤘💪🫡🤩😎

@@ChriswithaCrc Yes i think a shimming video would be good, its a skill that comes in useful all over RC vehicles and can really reduce wear on parts and downtime for fixing. Sounds like vitavon do have every surface covered in how they go about machining the parts .They are under consideration if i manage to wreck a gearbox case 👍

Well of course they'd never made.It's mostly vitavon parts silly guy

I think you have completely missed understood the point of the video buddy , they made a outcast 6s EXB and since they never made the notorious EXB I decided to make my own with the parts I wanted . 🤦♂️ Stay awesome buddy Chris 🤙💪🫡🤩👊🤘🚀😎
