I have the ASUS Rog Ally, and I must say this is exactly how I use it, I do my excel data analysis, switch to gaming, is so much fun. I use the steam deck on the road, is more compact. Had to sell my consoles, they were just laying their accumulating dust for months. The future of gaming is going to be Exciting, stay alive people we gat more fun coming😅😅😅

I think you can set steam up to work as a translator for any game generally I'd just recommend using an Xbox controller though just for plug and play

Why not a larger screen? I took my rog ally back and got a mini PC to use with meta quest 3. I tried with my projector but the screen is too washed out, not enough contrast.

I actually sold my alienware X17R1 with an RTX 3070 and bought an ROG Ally because a laptop is really not portable and you have to be plugged in. If they make egpu for this, then it isn't going to be obsolete for a while, especially that Z1 extreme 8 core processor.
