Every time Kevin mentioned Mac Miller, it made me want Bob to hear "Swimming" and "Circles" so so badly. lol And I would happily do the Conversations With The Community for either of those albums. lol Mac Miller simply makes my heart and soul happy, for so many different reasons. Bob has listened to a lot of amazing music, and it excites me that he still has yet to experience the hidden gem that is Mac Miller. I truly can't wait for that day. Everyone has that one artist who speaks to them on a level no one else can, to give wisdom, vulnerability, perspective, or who is simply a shoulder to lean on when having a rough time in life. Mac Miller is that artist for me, and there isn't even a viable 2nd place. lol
@YerpDerp172 жыл бұрын
@@JDD- I mean he can start with whatever he decides to lol I've seen tons of reactors start with Faces and I've seen just as many if not more start with Swimming and go back. Both equally enjoying and appreciating the music and concepts. This policing of how to properly enjoy music is a farce most of the time. Rare circumstances it does matter. Swimming and Circles is vastly different than his other work and sonically/conceptually would connect with Bob more. He has enough albums on his list for a decade or more, so you have to take all of that into account. lol I mean Turning The Tables started with Swimming then Circles and look how it affected him. Had every bit of impact made obvious by how many times he mentioned him in just this podcast alone.

YOU ENJOYED CHARLI XCX? YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY! Thats one ive actually recommended a reaction to, but you hearing on your own is really great too! Hopefully it wasnt CRASH though because Crash is great but its nowhere near her last 5 projects, that really show her creativity (Crash is by far her most straightforward pop album). One of her main producers is SOPHIE, who sadly passed In January 2021, falling after trying to get a good view of the full moon. SOPHIE is a pioneer of Hyperpop and she’s highly responsible for Charli XCX’s shift into experimental pop / hyperpop. She entirely produced the EP Vroom Vroom for Charli in 2016, which was a big shift for Charli and made her label really upset and worried. That ep set Charli into a group of artists at the forefront of Hyperpop and was the start of people saying Charli is “the future of pop music”, etc. I’m not sure which Charli album you heard, but if it was Crash, i think reacting to her album Pop 2 or Charli would be great! To maybe put into the hunger games rotation like how you put Lana Del Rey in it. SOPHIE has an incredible album too and it’s called Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides. The vocals are more sparse, it’s partially instrumental, and the production is definitely at the forefront, and it’s an amazing experience unlike any other. That album you would be absolutely guaranteed to love and worth reacting to (because mind will be blown). She also has a presence in the hip hop world, producing a few songs for Vince Staples. Continuing the video, i’ll add comments to this if i have more to say

I almost began crying when Kevin mentioned the Kendrick concert because I’m too scared to get myself a ticket. Ticketmaster has the absolutely worst reputation in Denmark, the customer service is nonexistent (you can be in queue as number 2 for +2 hours and don’t get a response) and people often don’t get their tickets even though ticketmaster charges for them. I would be fine if the tickets were cheaper, but they’re like 115 usd. When they got confronted about it, ticketmaster didn’t even defend it, I think it’s truly absurd that they’re doing this without getting any consequences. It’s going to pain me for eternity if I don’t get to see him, but I just don’t want to risk 115 usd on what’s most likely going to be nothing.
@ThaFutureLegend2 жыл бұрын
I don't know how it works in Denmark but maybe you can look up the box office of the venue that Kendrick is playing and seeing if you can buy them in person there. That's what i plan on trying to do to avoid the massive fees buying them online will charge.
@iansvane2 жыл бұрын
@@ThaFutureLegend Thanks, I didn't know that. The problem is that the box office of course only sells the tickets if the event isn't sold out, which I believe is going to happen since it's five months away. But thanks again for letting me know.
