i feel like my immortal would do really well as one of those super styleised books. y'know with like, A/N as scribbles in the beggining of the chapters, a font + paper that makes it look like it was written down in a notebook or smth, a bunch of drawings along the edges of the characters and outfits in a kinda crappy artstyle to trule just enhance the character of the story and why it's so beloved. i do absolutely LOVE the choice of filling out the empty space with blank pages along with the incomplete page numbers to represent the incompletion of the actual fic. i personally would have just liked some more aspects that show the story behind the fic as prominantely as the fic itself

Don't mean to "um ackshually..." here, but I just wanted to mention that it is really important that your PVA glue is non-acidic if you want your project to have any kind of longevity.
@ZoeHerron-hf7zt6 ай бұрын
Good to know
@seigeengine5 ай бұрын
To be clear for people reading this: if you use some random PVA, your book isn't going to fall apart in a week, nor a month, nor a year. The shortest time span this kind of stuff is going to really matter on unless you get something catastrophically wrong is multiple decades. While it's true that non-archival materials will decrease the lifetime of the book, this is a concern for conservation of historic objects more than something of relevance for the creation of ordinary objects. That is to say, if you're not trying to create heirlooms, don't stress about it.
