Baby Yoda is a sweetheart. I wish them the best. I don't think actual buskers (the human statue dancer at the beginning) are scammers. They are offering entertainment and you can just keep walking if you aren't interested. Those bead/bracelet scammers are EVERYWHERE!!!

Agreed but the worst one is the time share guy trying to get you to sit down with people, many people. That check your credit to give you free circus 🎪 tickets or helicopter ride but then once they find who has a good credit they try hard af to get you even if you say no the find a reason to get you to say you want it. Then your credit is screwed up for a few years and you got payments on something you don't use. I was warned about them and know people that live close by. My mom isn't too far from Vegas. Once I told em I had out of State i.d. they were trying so hard to give something free but I showed him my license I was living like 1.5 hours away 😂😂 I was like yeah I know all about this but they will stop you pull you aside and whoever your with. Try to convince them accept something free. Those others scammers yeah obvious to avoid them for most but can see how they can still get anyone even if you get a warning 😆

I seriously question some of the lower end "scammers". Who knows if they're not the victim of human trafficking? Maybe they were brought in owing a sum of money that they are forced to work off? Maybe the immigration paperwork is being withheld until they earn a certain amount of money? I think some "scammers" may actually be desperate victims caught in a difficult situation with no hope of getting out.

I tried to explain all the scammers to her before we went to New Orleans but, idk, she is just a super friendly country girl, and I had to keep blocking scammers as we walked around, she even told me I was mean for ignoring them. If there is someone that I want to donate to for a pic or something I will do that, but I'm not going to be pressured into giving away money by anyone. Hopefully, she will see this is a hustle and these people aren't going to be offended if we don't stop and chat with each of them lol.

It's interesting how they keep saying "This is how I feed my family" as if that some how means it's legitimate. Just because it's what you do to feed your family doesn't mean that some how establishes a foundation of trust. In fact, when you really think about it, that makes you sound like your scamming me, because that phrase is meant to make me feel guilty for not doing what you want me to do. Legitimate businesses don't typically utilize guilt as a method to sell something.

He gave use some story about leaving his wallet and he needs only a few bucks to get a taxi and please can we help him out. I was immediately thinking SCAM and if he was for real, he would just go and ask reception in the hotel for some help or assistance. My mate however fell for the sob story and gave him $20! I think some people are easily manipulated when presented with a ‘sad story’. You need to think about such a thing logically.

You're kidding right? Giving 3 guys in a costume $20 when you are trying to tell people how not to get scammed? Not the right way to do a video like this imo.

I think the time share guy annoyed me the most. He sucked up the most amount of TIME. When I'm in Vegas the last thing I want to do is waste time with a salesman.

Thank you again for another interesting video. You both worked pretty hard in the heat too. I think that Las Vegas may have a few Buddhist temples and would be so worried not to tip, or at least feel guilty if I didn't. Your lessons were not wasted.

Never buy bottle water from vendors on or near the pedestrian bridges, often the bottles are used and refilled. They sell their scam by “opening” the bottle for you.

Thanks for this video; I've always walked by and ignored the hustlers on the strip, so it's interesting to see how the interactions go down. Those fake monks don't even deserve the title of monk. As someone who follows Buddhism, it makes me so angry to see people use the religion to make money. To be an actual Buddhist monk, you have to practice for years and embody the principles (they live simply); they remain in their temples meditating, praying, teaching classes, and doing their chores. The temples would never send them out to get donations. They're shilling cheap fake jewelry that has Buddhist deities on them. If you want an item for good fortune, go to a real temple. You'll "buy" it at the price, but it's a donation that goes to support the temple and monks. At least the jewelry/item has been sitting in the temple where the monks are praying, and you can take your item and pray with it in the temple too.

Little piece of trivia, most real buddhist monks aren't allowed to take a gift (donation) from a woman!! It must be handed to a man, then handed over to the monk. These fake monks are in just about every large tourist city, running the same scam.

I went to Vegas for the first time in summer of 2021. It went smoothly. The only downer was that they tried to have us buy a 30 to 50 dollar chain for my pearl, and all I wanted was the pearl. We said no. I ended up hearing them complaining to each other as she was fixing something at the register. It was from the Hawaiian pearl themed stand inside at one of the casinos

Let me give you a little information on the show, girls, or any of those girls that are dressed up with barely any clothes. They don’t work for themselves. They usually work for a guy that has a so-called business. He makes them drive to his office. They all load up in a small van. He makes them buy the uniforms right off the bat themselves. And when they get back to the office in the evening after he picks them up, they have to give him about 80% of their earnings. He’s always watching he’s always within the vicinity of those girls as well so next time you see those showgirls look around and see if you see a guy that’s kind of standing there watching them. Not the typical guy staring at them because they have no clothes but somebody that looks like they’re guarding them. He also does that because he knows how much money they need. That’s why they are kind of loud and kind of aggressive because they have somebody supervising.

I remember sitting at a bar in downtown with my pal and a couple of Australians sat down with us and started chatting. They both ordered water. I have no idea whether they were going to scam us or not, but an Australian at a bar NOT chugging back 5 or 6 beers is the biggest red flag in the world, so I ran for my life.

Even $5 for a photo is ridiculous. I've seen some of them get very aggressive to passersby trying to take a photo of them (without other people). There was no such nonsense back in the 90s. Just the card slappers. Those made for nice souvenirs and were free. The 'monks' are all over the world. Old trick.
