All taxis (even app taxis) have to pay a fee just to get in the airport parking lot. So we Peruvians are used to take it outside, it is, more or less, 10$ cheaper. Also, there are like 4 different apps to choose here: Uber, Beat, Cabify, InDrive (you can bargain here).

For wine and Pisco in Ica, there are three wine cellars that I recommend to visit: Tacama, Queirolo and La Caravedo. I recomend Queirolo not only for the wine, where you can find different types of dry wine with the Intipalka brand, but also for the restaurant and the view; really good peruvian food almost next to the vineyards. The only thing is that you have ti make reservations in order to enter. The prices are not cheap but it's worth value.

The statues on the fountain actually were cast in 1650 to represent the Spanish Empire overpowering the Native Peruvians. That's why there are lions (representing the Spanish crown) raping the winged serpent creature (representing the native peoples of the Americas).
