Except thats not what happens. He blew his voice because he didn't rest. While everyone else was off the road he was doing solo gigs like crazy and traveling all over the place. Stopped working with a dialect coach as well so he slurs a lot of the English wording which he was working on. This one is all on him 100%. Waiting for the band to go back to lipping songs and then force him out like they did Augeri. Such a mess this band has become, just awful!

Yeah, just a bit. So glad I did NOT waste my $$$. For me, this is NOT the same Journey. Niel and Jonathon are pretty much the remaining band members. I loved Arnel when his voice wasn't shot like it has been for years.

I saw Arnel back in 2018, and he was working his ass off with a cold...still getting it done...despite the whole band vibe that was brewing even back then. He needs a break to cool his pipes down and get away from the whole Journey soap opera.

Legacy was ruined when they forced Augeri to lip songs and then they fired him bringing in JSS who is no where near qualified to sing Journey material every night. They just collect paychecks now playing the dirty dozen and the only news they make is when Cain goes off about religion and how Trump is a God. They're truly a lost cause now.

Arnel can’t sing the right notes. He has no voice left. If you know anything about music, he isn’t close to hitting the right notes. You pay top dollar to see the band and it is so off. Just like Bon Jovi, nothing left in Arnel’s voice. Dean didn’t sing one song in Chicago. He has a great voice. This is embarrassing.

This is pathetic! Just goes to show you that the singer is as crucial as an instrument is! Song sounds awful due to the singer. Arnel sounds like a badly tuned instrument. As much as he was so good in the past and a terrific singing replacement for Steve Perry, I believe that Deen should be the vocal instrument now. The voice is crucial to the songs and the way they sound!
