TV (not IR) seekers usually lock targets only from 5km but, the best way to use them from long distances is to lock on a POINT not the vehicle itself, it only works if the targets don't move much, and works best with missiles because they can get themselves to 5km quick and start tracking, on the top left next to your weapon selector it says TRACK or POINT when you lock the missile/bomb, TRACK means it's tracking the target, POINT mean it's tracking the point in space but it will continue to look for a target in that point of space.

one of the most underestimated jets in the game is the su22m3 (squadron one) it's the only su17/22 that has the R29 engine (same as the mig23m/mig27) instead of the AL21, it has over 1000 Kgf thrust more on afterburner and 1500Kgf MORE ON MAX MILITARY POWER, it has so much thrust, acceleration and energy retention, i just wish it had more than 12 flares, there is proof that the syrian air force put more flares on it than 12 but gaijin refuses to buff that

The SU-22M3 and SU-17M3 at 11.3 doesn't get any Kh-29T's. Only the SU-25BM at 11.3 gets two Kh-29T's. I think this is the better deal, not the price tag obviously.

the su25bm is 11.0 grb and it gets KH29TE's, extended range kh29t's along with 2x Kab500 tv bombs AND 2 more kh25ml laser guided bombs, AND 2x r73 AND 2x MORE r60mk's... all that at a lower br

The poor RWR and lack of zoom optics makes this a weak CAS plane at its BR. As someone else said, the SU-25BM is a far superior choice and it's waaay cheaper.

nice, its like the swiss hunter if it was supersonic. i highly recommend researching swiss hunter with squad points, its good in air RB and ground RB as CAS since it gets 2 good TV guided missiles plus some rockets which can get you a kill every now and then
