Corvette in Houston would be great, especially a C8! Make sure to charge a high price and target a more affluent clientele.

How can I find the demand for this in my area? I live in a tourist town in Florida and I'm very interesting in purchasing a C8 or Slingshot to list. I live in St. Augustine

Skip the Slingshot and only get the C8 if you can find a great deal. I would suggest a Tesla Model S or X. There’s no way to really find out the demand for a car and what’s in the market right now doesn’t tell much. I believe there’s a growing market for Teslas and has the best reward to risk.

No need for commercial insurance, Turo’s Insurance coverage is enough. Just make sure to list if for nothing less than $334/day. What city are you in?

Don’t buy a Corvette C7 older than 2019 and with more than 6K miles. You’ll have issues getting parts like a torque tube or AC controller if it breaks. The better investment is to buy a 2021 Tesla Model Y or a Lifted 2022 Ford Bronco Sasquatch.

I haven’t had that C8 for awhile. I’ll be listing a new one hopefully here shortly. I would list at $720 per day and could easily get it out 10 days out of the month

Turo is a cashflow business for me, I don’t own these vehicles. The perfect deal would be a 2 year car lease that brings 4X the car-payment+insurance.

That’s what it is out here in Vegas too! It sucks! Prices are dropping and I plan on buying this year, but I won’t be listing on Turo. Advertising is cheap and I’d rather invest in directing traffic to my own site. $200 daily rate means the renter is spending around $400 on Turo, I’d rather be at the $450-$500 day rate (direct). I see the fees went up again on Turo …it’s getting kinda crazy! It’s looking just like the Uber/Lyft commission model.

@@innovationpropertyatlanta yes but not commercial insurance for a rental business, it’s too expensive here in Vegas. I found commercial insurance that covers drivers who are employees or members of a corporation. I’m working on the details and will be sharing soon. I’ll only be working with businesses (b2b/Corp-to-Corp), so the model will be totally different. I first have to make another website that focuses on a club membership, not a rental car business.
