TURON is a classic Filipino street food where ripened cooking or saba bananas are wrapped in spring roll wrappers to create a light and crispy snack! Strips of sweet jackfruit and brown sugar are also added to excite the flavor. However, with or without the sweet jackfruit, TURON will always be our all- time favorite snack.
TURON can easily be made at home. We have to cook it the right way so it will taste and look like the one sold on streets or it can be a better version. The video shown is about cooking TURON the right way.

TURON: COOKING THE RIGHT WAY
Ingredients:
7 pcs. small cooking bananas, quartered
½ -¾ C brown sugar
100 g sweet jackfruit or langka
Spring roll or lumpia wrapper
Cooking oil for frying
To prepare the slurry,
dissolve 1 T all-purpose flour in 2T warm water
