You can use the camera preview for the turrets and control them directly and fire. Will the perks help then? Probably not, but maybe.

Just an added tip, if you are sneaking through POI's the game have a tendency to put zombie jerks on either or both of the sides of doorways. You often need to walk far through the door and come up very close before you can either hit or shoot the zombie jerks and even with a high sneak, chances are that they'll wake up. Often the walls will be made out of wood, so what I usually do is just remove the wall right next to the door (the second one up). Unless you have a very low sneak skill, the zombie jerks will not wake up from this and you have a much easier and clearer space to either hit or shoot the zombie jerks.

the problem ive found with not breaking down locked doors and following the determined route they want you to take is that all the zombies are hidden and or trriggered by you entering that set route... or have you falling thru a floor or zombies falling thru to you and surrounding you.. so in general using my stealth/strength build i was mostly going the way they dont want you to go so i can snipe all the zombies before they even wake up

I run a similar horde base myself but only one robotic turret, I have two but you may want to point out you need the last perk in the tree to have two active turrets at a time

I'm playing as a 2-person team. just got to where we have 3 turrets now. Up till now we've been using 2 junk turrets on the roof as vulture defense. But I'd like to get to 4 turrets to have more options. We're both going to 8 intellect and 4/4 charismatic nature, so we'll be able to perk up to 4 turrets between us when near each other and wearing intelligence/XP goggles.

On the tools, I take the battle axe and put the iron and stone breaker mod on it and voila a do all axe that also makes a great weapon.

Construction sites (heaps of sand) are the best. If you find yourself away from any desert bio, another reasonable source is digging up gravel paths (the light grey.white ones)

Junk turrets can murder demo's. You just have to get them in a place where they only ever look at the Demolition zombies' backs. A "march away before coming back to me" corridor works great for that. And it makes it a lot easier to shoot them with handheld guns too. On doors, I like a lvl 6 modded/perked stone axe. No time lost to switching tools, and very fast swing rate (especially with flurry of blows), makes up for second rate dmg.

I am having a porblem with automatic turrets, always when shooting ends with a error "meeeek" sound and look down, and have enough power and ammo...if I go away form the game and come back the turrets is OK again...

A question, when using hammer turrets that way you gain experience or only serve to defend the base? Regards from Paraguay

You should gain experience from the Robotic Sledge

Can confirm. Sledge or junk turrets both give full experience without any perks. They are your weapons, you're just not holding them. Also, fire damage from burning shaft mod gives full XP, even though other fire sources don't. Same with bleed effects. One downside though, is that knocking them off a platform makes it take longer to kill zombies, so it's not very fast at earning XP. Can use it as a "safety" at the end of a kill corridor though, like the exploity drop-trap designs.

ive been buying weird electrical stuff in the trader but no idea how to use any of it.. so far i have never used generator banks.. solar cells, electric traps, electric fences, robotics etc.. im on day 84 or so... im just storing stuff without knowing how to use it.. i did get engineer perk level 5, grease monkey level 5.. and robotics level 5 with intelligence at level 10

Strangely I've never messed with the turrets. I wonder if the perks would kick in if you fired them manually from the camera preview cause I seen some place else you could do that to stay out of sight of spitting cops.

Which ammo were you using with the robotic turrets? I thought there was AP ammo for them now that helped ignore armor

There is AP ammo for the Robotic Turret. However, it doesn't really make much of a difference. Even with AP ammo, the Turrets can't deal enough damage to take down a Demo before he explodes. Especially since the ammo seems to be button seeking.

Make a platform, then make the zombie path rise up going "away" from your platform (and eventually turning and circling back to your platform). I like to make it a bridge platform with the path up (and away) starting right under the players. Make some obstruction so the junk turrets only have a view of the zombies moving away from your platform, and they can't see the zombies on their return path. Same concept as putting the sledge turrets only on the demos' left side.

How it is possible to avoid or choose the option of this. Me and my friend play cooperative but I spawn in a place and when he enters he spawns very far away. How can I choose withoud debug mode for him spawn in the same place has I? Pleasd repply, keep up the good work

Unfortunately, I don't think you can. Unless you set up your own server and set the spawn point, the game will spawn players at random locations.

Tell him to pick up Rule 1: Cardio in fortitude (or you can) with one of the first 4 points. With no armor, and not encumbered, you can cross a couple km "fast". I think you spawn at like 9am? I've completed the starting quests, and then jogged to a friend over 2km away before 5pm. Make it dual purpose by grabbing every bird's nest you see on the way. If you jog 2km to meet your friend, you two can split up a couple hundred feathers and at least a dozen eggs on day 1! Usually at least 1 deer too. Tell him to spend a point in master chef & find a cooking pot, cuz you got something for him ;-)

New to 7 Days. Just noting. Here, you shoot bears in the butt. Punch zombies in the BUTTon. I am eager to see the part about the stripper zombie and the nail gun...

can someone explain to me what is the cause of the police guys exploding? is it random? do they do it when they take a certain amount of damage or when they get close to you? it seems completely random to me.. also the demolition guys... should i be aiming for the green flashing light to make them explode when on horde night? or purposefully aiming away from that to kill them without explosion? i had 4 spawn in within 15 minutes of horde night and they all blew up and completely destroyed the front of my horde base made from steel

Are you sure smg/shotgun turrets aren't broken like armor mods? You know how mods don't work until you unequip and reequip modded armor. Maybe the perks apply after you take the perk and re/place the turret. Its worth a test.

fyi, A19.1 rerolls all your armor. So, if you had a swat helmet with armor 15 it's likely to have changed.

@@aliasmask Does A19.1 reroll values upon modding or does it need a re-equip? I didn't know they tried to fix it, haven't seen it on the 'known issues'

@@federalepps I noticed in our multiplayer server. I checked with the other players to verify. I had an 85 armor rating and I noticed it went down to 77. We checked our armor box where we keep the best 3 of other armor sets and they too were rerolled. Some were better, but most were worse. Mods didn't play a factor. I did pull mods off and re-equip and it didn't change the base values back to before 19.1. After swapping out my current armor for new armor I ended up with slightly better slots (t5 for t6s) but less armor, 84.

One thing you didn’t test, if you place the auto turrets after increasing the skills. The turrets were placed before you added the skill perks. Does this make a difference? Also, did you put any mods the the robo turrets? Will the increased damage matter? Still Love your videos.

I did test that out but didn't include it in the final cut. It doesn't matter if you place the Turret down before or after you perk up.

Loot is random. You are at the mercy of the RNG. There is no specific place to loot specific items in 7 Days.

@@SavensWorld thats not 100% true but it is not wrong either...you cant get a gun before GS 11 no matter what you loot. and with drop tables you cant get a turret from trash piles or like a pile of shoes. what i meant was like what poi would be the best bet...after looking around the best bet is to go to the military bases
