Hey everyone just a quick video about the aiming change on the stealth ultra. The change is minor but to me makes it better. one thing I forgot to mention, the latency has stayed the same and still 250hz with no overclocking change either.

Have you tried the BigBig Won Rainbow 2 PRO controller ? , ive used it for a couple days now and for 70 bucks its quite good 1000hz polling rate, 4 % error on circularity test on some really good feeling potentiometers thumbsticks and ok ish 4 paddle design.

I’ve been using the copycat BlackShark Green Ghost for about a year and just fyi, can confirm it works for Xbox Series X with no noticeable delay whatsoever. Excellent sticks, but you have to drop the default deadzone from 15 to 0 in the BlackShark Arsenal App. Elite Series 2 sticks are compatible with a shim. Trigger stops are meh.

Great professional video I have two questions 1. I play competitive games and I always need the cable..I have a razer controller without battery...only with the cable...my question is if I always connect this controller Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra with the cable I risk burning the battery? or does it block and therefore I don't risk ruining it? the second question, what type of silicone cup would you recommend me to buy to cover the analogue ones? thanks for your time

Hey so same here I always play with the controller connected. When the battery is full the charging doesn’t take place even on the cradle and it shows a message “fully charged”. So when connected with cable the battery has no charge indicator either. I personally like the kontrolfreeks galaxies and use the Xbox variant on the right stick, on the left stick I’m using Skull&CO thumbgrips and they work really well for me. I’m not sure if my preferred grips would suit you, but any generic thumbgrips should work.

Could you do a breakdown of the 3 aim response curves? Or simply just 2 of them since linear is straight forward. They don't seem to behave as they are suggested. Thanks for the videos on this controller.

Hey I sorta mentioned in my review that they feel bugged to me, precision just gets out of hand depending on the speed you move the stick, fast seems to have a very slow response like a big deadzone kinda feel.

oh ok I missed that thank you. Yeah thats what I noticed, deadzone increased on fast and it didn't feel fast at all. And precision speed was fast and kinda nice for the left stick at least for movement but doesn't feel accurate to me.@@thephototechy

When everyone talks poll ratings and the speeds, is it only on pc? Is any of this measured for xbox too? Or is xbox capped at 125 for all these controllers? I believe the victrix gambit is 250 hz for xbox out the box. Correct me if im wrong.

I just purchased the gamesir g7 se because of the 1000 hz but its been pulled back, waiting on the update like many, but out the box for xbox is it also 250 hz? Or is it capped like the rest?

Hey so Xbox can support 250hz for controllers, so any controller showing 250hz xinput test will be 250hz on Xbox. If you read gamesir 1000hz post in their discord, they have a mention Xbox saying 4ms max. The 1000hz of the G7 and G7se will work on Xbox as well and does make a difference, I’ll be making a detailed video once it’s out for every one. Also elite series 2 is 125hz but can perform better than a cheap 250hz controller, I made some high speed recordings of the screen and series 2 can give results as fast as 250hz controllers and even faster than some others. Gamesir controllers have for sure improved with the 1000hz update, it’s a subtle change but definitely noticeable.

I’m actually worried with the QC issues, mine is coming on 29th, hope all is okay as I’m overseas! Don’t wish to create the hassle of returning Second worry is that avg error from 1.2~1.4% previously to now ~12%. I mean the dead space isn’t a big issue imo. But the jump in error is a bit sketchy 🥶

Mine runs flawlessly for about 20 minutes then I get the disconnects but I’m using mine wirelessly on pc. Sticks feel great and I don’t have the grinding issue but the disconnects are making me think twice about keeping this thing. I backed out of the software using the B button but I never restarted my pc. I’m gonna give it another run today.

Hey so I did encounter some disconnects on pc whilst testing, but I play on Xbox and never got a disconnect on Xbox. They really need to sort this as it’s marketed as a pc and Xbox controller. Have you tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling? Might fix the issue for you.

Hi, I just bought this controller today. My only real question is, "How can i tell when i activate and deactivate the Pro Aim mappable button?" There's just no clear way to be in game and tell if I switch it on/ off. It should have a haptic feedback when turned on / off in my opinion

Hey so for pro aim to take effect the mapped button has to be pressed and held down, once let go the stick will do the full register again.

Just got this controller a few days ago and yesterday it disconnected from the xbox. Today it just did it again. I was able to update the controller to 1.6 but can't update the dongle. Why is it disconnecting?

Hey that’s definitely not right, I only experienced the disconnects on PC. Was the Turtlebeach control centre running on your Xbox when it disconnected?

I turned mine in at Best Buy because my controller kept disconnecting and the right stick in game would make my character spin around without touching the controller. I gave it a 1 star rating. Maybe next gen will get everything right.

Ah bro that definitely sounds like a faulty unit, seems to also have disconnecting issues but that right stick is a first I’ve heard. Honestly if the issues aren’t there it’s one of the best controllers.

I had the exactly same experience!!! Right stick loose when aiming up 12 clock. Disconnecting when on cable or dongle. So disappointing product straight out of the box. Returning immediately. That was my second unit already. They just launched unfinished model. Shame

​@thephototechy if the victrix is locked at 124hz polling rate like the ps5 version that's an automatic no for me lol. As far as the stealth ultra and eswap x2, they both have their issues. I want the stealth ultra but the grinding thumbsticks and d pad issues are concerning. And if the eswap x2 has problems with the jitter thumbsticks still that is also concerning. Guess I'll just wait for another month or so

Hey so it took me some time getting used to Hall effect sticks feeling, after the adjustment 100% really good for FPS. I myself mostly play fps mainly COD and BF2042.

Here’s a tip if you play any competitive games and want full total response always use usb c blue or red port on your PC the only way to get ultra fast response is through using a cord connected. I never use wireless anymore unless I’m playing super casual, turtle Beach has the worst BT:wireless controllers and peripherals ever for years now FYI 💯

Hi I got my Gulikit kk3 max controller so far I like the normal paddles and half dome but still I can't getting to used hall effect joysticks. In my experience first party controllers have better aim assist then most third party controllers I've tested this my self on apex legends I have 360hz monitor and getting 300fps locked I can notice pretty much everything this is one of the reason why pro players only use first party controllers I think premium 3d party controllers may have good aim assist because of their processor.

Bro thanks for remembering and sharing your experience. Honestly I’ve been waiting for some info on the KK3, the sticks are supposed to be higher resolution than their previous model. Ksilver JH16 are a bit different and I’ll be making a video on those soon. What you are describing has me worried a bit, as the only difference I feel in HE stick for me is that empty hollow feeling, where normal sticks have a bit more dampening as it seems. I also though maybe HE sticks had an acceleration sorts at the initial movement. There’s definitely a difference with G7se having the 1000hz and the stealth ultra and snakebyte have changed my perception a bit, I do believe we can replace the normal sticks with HE if we are willing to accept HE characteristics. I was thinking the new sticks in KK3 would be either a match or even better than the normal sticks, not that JH16 are bad or way worse just different feeling. Unfortunately I won’t be able to test the KK3 as I’m console only, but I’ve seen the Goku adapter they have that can make the controller usable on Xbox, need to find out more about that before I decide to purchase it. Hey man, thanks for the info. Was wondering if you've tested and know anything about the Bluetooth deadzone issue with this controller? I've made a video here demonstrating the difference between using the dongle, Bluetooth and also comparing to a Dualsense Bluetooth: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXbXgX16mZytaZY The results are wacky tbh. Using the dongle works great but I use it in Bluetooth mode for my steam deck and the axial deadzone are next level atrocious over Bluetooth. Can you confirm whether this happens on your end too?

@@thephototechy I used the calibration section in Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> Calibration & Advanced Settings menu. I also downloaded an app on the Google play store to see if its a steam issue and the issue seems to be consistent on my end regardless of the software used to test. Also worth noting that I can't get gamepad tester to work either. Strange...

@@Dead-0-Zone no intrusion at all :) there's a few people that have reported this but here's the thing: their official website states the following: "Specs Bluetooth®: Android Devices, Windows PCs & supported Smart TVs with Bluetooth®" So they do officially state that they support Windows PC ss well as android over Bluetooth. It's not a deal breaker for me by any means but the behaviour of the joysticks over Bluetooth are baffling, to say the least. I'm still able to play games on my steam deck as normal, everything still works but the deadzones are very noticeable.

Hey there yanks for sharing bro. Did you have issues on Xbox or pc? I didn’t encounter any connection issues on xbox whilst gaming, but did encounter disconnects on pc when testing.
