Thanks! That was interesting and useful. Tried to play wirelessly on my xbox series x controller and it feels very slow ( maybe due to bluetooth ). But in your measurement with these controllers it seems like the difference is not so much. Also did you use receiver instead of bluetooth?

Hey bro. Are they updating the g7's again? Im considering getting the original g7. I like the hall effect sticks on the se but i feel like the sticks are a little inaccurate at times. I want to try the g7 and see if i prefer it for shooters.

Hello, just recently found the channel and I enjoy the content. I've always loved fps shooters and I'm a high sensitivity player as well, but the most recent cod has taken alot to get my setting dialed in until I found a few major issues, the main being---I use a overclocked victrix gambit but recently found out its been the reason for some of my aim issues.... While in mw3 you can go to dead zone settings and run a test, and that's where I was able to see my gambit having what seems to be some kind of jitter or super jumpy aim. Ive used the software to calibrate the sticks and nothing..... I plug in one of my old controller and neither have the issue. They deliver smooth inputs which instantly made it feel like a new game for me ...... Any advice?

Hey have you checked the gambit on gamepad tester? When the sticks gets used they lose a bit of resolution, but recalibrating through the victrix hub should fix this. Check if you can do minor movements without a lot of jitter on gamepd tester, a little jitter is ok as it gets smoothed out but wha you’ve mentioned sounds a lot. My Gambit has over 150 hours easy on it as it was my most used to MW2, I did notice the sticks had gone out of Calvin it didn’t want to recalibrate coz I enjoyed them a lot, after recalibrating though the feel did change but never experienced any jitter at all.

I know you are testing aiming but did you try a button to see if the response times were similar? I was thinking button pressed can be hard to get consistent but you could do it holding a button like crouch or ADS and release it instead and see how long it takes to react.

Hey so I thought of doing that but getting the actual actuation of the button press is a bit difficult. Triggers can be a possibility with stops engaged but button presses is a bit difficult. Definitely something I should look into for testing as well.

Interesting test, i thought the g7se software disabling the audio jack was a random bug but i guess it had to do with enabling the low delay

Why does my thumb stick sensitivity feel so touchy. The elite 2 had a good tension so my feed back was good for correcting my aim but on the stealth I have no feed back. Is this me or are the thumbstick very touchy? Also how does pro aim mode work? Can you do a short on it. Love your work. I ordered the kontrolfreek foam to mimic the tension of the elite 2 to correct my aim. I don’t know if it’s me or the thumbsticks

Hey so getting the Kontrolfreek precision ring would help a lot, but I’d recommend only using the green one, and once you feel comfortable with the aiming take it off. It’s my usual practice with every controller, just to get used to it I’ll use the precision ring for a few hours on it. Hall effect sticks don’t have potentiometer friction so feel a bit empty, which can feel very quick to respond. On the stealth I’m using the standard response curve on the controller axis mapping tab coz that feels the best to me, precision and fast seems bugged to me. Pro aim is a feature which you can map to a back button and it’ll restrict the movement of the right stick, so in essence give you the ability to lower the sensitivity on the fly.

Hey bro so I’ll be making a video about the 1000hz vs others soon, just waiting for the update to come out again. In 250hz on the G7se I was getting 10-11 frames but in 1000 I got mostly 8 and some 9, so the controller definitely improved with the 1000hz for sure. In 250hz it’s beat by a few others like the stealth and snakebyte gamepd pro. Once we have the 1000hz it’ll be hard to beat for sure.

I have odered the stealth i return it g7se feel better in everthing i mean in the feeling in the game more responsive when 1000hz update come back its also more better controller then all others controllers i have the elite stick on my g7se its gamechanger for me and also for the money its insane that People buy 200 or more for a pro controller

Im having intermittent connection issues. The other day i could not get wireless connectivity with the dongle even after some hard resets. Switching to usb it would drop if i moved the controller even the slightest. Im a huge fan of the stick tension shape and feel of this controller but im tired of having to do anythin other than power on mysetup and get to gaming. Feeling reluctant to jump back to my g7 even so.

Bro so I’ve had this comment from someone else as well, mentioning connection issues. I personally haven’t experienced any disconnection at all. If you’ve tried everything else and the wire seems secure and still disconnects then reach out to Turtlebeach for a replacement. That definitely sounds like an issue and I’ll be keeping an eye on mine as well. I don’t play wireless at all and I’m wondering if the dongle is the issue, I’m safe due to not using it apart from testing for a few games.

My elite controller is my go too still mainly because I need 3 paddles, I have to have 4-3 dead zones on the elite. I'll probably use the warranty at least once on it. I've got 3 yrs on the elite so I'm not too worried. My g7se can do 0 0 dead zones with no drift. I did put 4 dead zone on the triggers because they are super sensitive and also have a different shape that allows it to be pressed more easily on the sides and not needing to be pulled so much like a trigger, they actuate simply by just vibrating your finger in place, lol. It's actually insane how good the hair triggers are on this controller and how much adjustability you have in the dead zones.

What update on the G7se are you waiting for mine still has the option for 250-500-1000 currently using 1000, like someone else commented I returned the stealth and sticking with the G7se imo the stealth didn’t do enough to warrant the 215 $ price tag. Especially when my G7se was 50$ and the controller and app that came with it actually works, compared to 215 $ controller with a broken app and a lot of bugs in the software at least that wa any experience. Can’t speak for everyone else

My wired connection randomly disconnects when on Xbox. Not sure if other blue tooth devices trigger this to randomly occur but hopefully they have a fix soon

Wireless on this controller is not usable. For some reason if you have a headset connected it adds input delay and your mic begins to stutter like crazy

Hey that’s what I tried to show, wireless with headset connected is not usable at all. Don’t know if it’s a bug that can be fixed or something permanent.

@@thephototechy pretty crazy it’s still not fixed and it was pretty much one of the core selling points. Definitely selling this controller when the new Victrix comes out. Overall after almost 2 months of use it’s a disappointment

There are no perfect controllers but the ultra sure comes close. I don’t care for the friction rings too much and some people are having disconnect issues but when they get that all figured out it will be and is my favorite controller. The victrix BFG pro looks sick. Definitely looks like a good one. I love my stealth ultra sooo much more than my elite 2’s or or scuff or anybody really. So many great things going for this controller they just got a few bugs to work out. There app sucks bad to but good thing you can do everything and I mean everything straight from the controller not gimmicky at all

Hey very very minor more, issue is with wireless and headset connected. In my opinion that’s a no go for fps multiplayer.

@@Troynex yes 100% bro. I’d say you’d probably can get away with wireless and no headset, for me I did notice a difference with wireless even no headset connected. Wired with headset you’d need to be a super human to feel the difference. I know I said in the video I could feel it and I meant wireless not wired with headset 😂

At first I thought Microsoft is probably opening the polling rate for controllers, but after reading Gamesir CEO’s message on the 1000hz on G7se, it’s clear that they’ve had to do a work around to get the 1000hz working. Now gamesir is trying to do things differently as they are a smaller firm and taking a bit more risks with features(which I absolutely love) would Turtlebeach do such a thing, I doubt it. I mean they haven’t even given us true 0 deadzones, still the product is absolutely amazing, easily one of the best performing controller, just not like the unique G7se 1000hz good.

Did you concider deadzone. And The SHUTTER of the camara must be set to 2x the Fps for 60fps it should be 120shutter AND SO ON 180° RULE

Hey so the I kept the shutter to a 1000, coz only keeping double gives some motion blur which could affect in this case. Also these tests are for Xbox and if you do the same in xinput you’ll see the same as latency increases.

Hey yes if you play with little deadzones of 3-4% in game then this’ll be a good one for wired, but at that price you are paying for something you don’t need, the wireless capability. I haven’t tried this one in Xdefiant yet as I’ve been playing with the Kaleid.

Why not just use xinput tester to compare wired and wireless and your test is not accurate at all as it has user input so not consistent

Hey bro I can’t believe I didn’t show that. So wired xinput is 3.6 average, wireless is 3.99 and when I connect a headset wireless the xinput goes to 12.6. So all this could’ve been shown easily on pc, but I wanted to test on Xbox hence made the video recordings. Also your point is valid my test have user input, but checking xinput it confirms that my tests have some merit as well coz they correspond with the xinput results. Thanks for sharing bro, I’ll keep in mind for next time, u see most my content is for console gaming.

@@thephototechy that's fair but pc uses Xbox wireless so will have the same results as Xbox I understand alot of people don't have pc or know what xinput is so a visual representation works for the less tech savvy 😂

@@marktron7178 xinput actually show the increase latency when wired and connected a headset as well, but I’m not sure to use xinput for Xbox results, but I’ll definitely include it for pc users next time.
