Hello! Thank you so much for reviewing my axolotl tank! It was a little suspenseful waiting to see the review cause I saw my entry in the intro and then I had to wait the whole video to see the review😅 but as of the update my axolotl`s name is Mako and I did get a bigger sponge filter a couple weeks before getting Mako. Again thank you so much for reviewing my enclosure!

Thank you for reviewing my Southern Painted turtle tank. Just saw this now since I never got the notification from KZbin. I got the idea for a DIY plastic bin basking area from you. 💕 I did modify it some and it works great! My turtle loves it! I liked the idea of having a clear basking area so I can see her well and interact with her at all times since she is very friendly and sociable. I have moved her into a 55 gallon now and she is very active and loves all the swimming area. Still have the same basking area as it fit perfectly from the 29 gallon. I will have to send her new tank in for another review video. Hope you are enjoying your summer program. ❤️🍍

I like the cork bark backdrop over the guppy tank also the huge driftwood as basking area in a turtle tank with just a thought of probably attempting to place more live plants that are turtle safe but won't eat. Then that large wire mesh tank top basking area am wnvying their tanks the most. I will try to upload mine but I guess I got to re do based on what had inspired me from your video. Currently have 3turtles sharing one tank. I've recently upgraded when just about 2mos ago my cooter was no bigger than 2inches... And I'm aghast as how it grew 3its size width and length...he's voracious!

Just to let you know most of the time a 40 gallon is not enough for two turtles. Depending on the size and kind this may be ok but I am a little concerned

@@Caleb-qc2iq They were hatchlings. I do plan to get a larger tank once they're bigger. They have accepted two tank mates for over a year and a half now, (a pleco and a rosie red minnow feeder fish) It's hard to make too many changes while things are going as smoothly as they are. They have a large above the tank basking area and the aquaclear 110 HOB filter. After spending what I have so far on the tank and stand setup I want to get the most use out of it before a bigger tank and stand setup. It's really the only thing that's left to upgrade. Maybe if they ask Santa they might get it for Christmas but we'll see....

Hey Turtle Girl. I have an internal filter question.. (I have watched your filter video from a couple years ago), I somehow found myself adopting a 4" slider from the trash in my building, and got myself in chest deep. I was not prepared for all it takes, but doing my best to accumulate that proper stuff. Anyways, at the moment because I can only afford a floating platform basking area right now, I don't have the water all the way up in the 29 gallon tank I just bought for her (all I could afford), I've tried the hanging filter, but because of the platform I could not use it. So I got a Zoo Med Turtle Clean 318 Submersible Filter Up To 30 Gallon, and it's been about 7 hours and the tank (With only about 8 or 9 gallons right now) will not get clear. It's continually cloudy and particles floating around - you can't see a couple inches in if looking from the long way in eye level. I have natural rocks bedding. I just changed the water yesterday. I'm lost, I've spent hours and days buying filters, loosing money, returning items. and now I thought I had the right thing, and it's not working at all it seems. I'm completely lost. Any thoughts or suggestions you might be able to pass along by chance, I would be so happy. Thanks. - This was a completely unplanned expense, and now I'm being told that it's illegal to release in the wild, no sanctuaries or pet stores will take her, so I guess we're stuck together...

Hiccups! I had a bad case of the hiccups when I was younger. I tried all kinds of things and found out now that I'm older that it's air pockets that are stuck. So when I get a hiccup now I some how force the air out as a burp of course. Tapping your chest helps

🍍 I'm waiting on a new enclosure for my asian water monitor, Ancalagon the Black. For now, he is taking up a spare room in my parent's house. I think I'll do a whole video of setting up his permanent enclosure, once I get it. I haven't seen any videos of this enclosure yet. It's an Essential enclosure by Custom Reptile Habitats: 96L x 48D x 72H.I was planning on including a 110gal tub for his water area. Do you have any information on the size (weight) limits for an aquarium on a 2nd floor apartment? I tried looking it up, but a lot of the information has the caveat, "It depends on what your joists are made from and how far they are spaced."

Yeah! Its the tannins from the driftwood leaching out. I do water changes but its still making the water like tea haha

If he has soft shell you should see a vet ASAP and take hum out of water to dry dock. Do you have lights for them and a place to get out of the water to dry out? 😞 im sorry your babies aren’t doing good
