Turtles, Sharks, and 1 Amazing Reef (Scuba Diving Cane Bay Travel Vlog: St. Croix, USVI)

Scuba diving the wall at Cane Bay is a must-do on St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. How do you know a fish is juvenile?

Great question. It really depends on the fish species, but the coloration/markings of many of the tropical reef fish changes as they grow.

One really good example of stark comparison between Juvenile and adult is the French angelfish. It's not just about the size difference. The markings change dramatically. Google juvenile French Angel Fish. In some fish species, it's just about the size.
