I didn't expect to find people who'd watch through the entirety of Rise!! A lot of older fans drop the series just because of their biases. Rise is refreshing, and deserves to have more seasons tbh.

I lost track of your channel for a while and then saw that this video was premiering and triggered me to binge your entire ROTTMNT series. I've really loved the progress of your reactions from the initial episodes to the finale, both the season one finale, but especially the season two finale. But yeah, definitely looking forward to your re-reaction of the movie.

58:20 So I know you've gone over it already, but the Corps REALLY screwed this show over with their demands (the lighter and softer, fifteen minute episodic format), their releases (Paramount isn't fully to blame for the mixed up episode order, they were RELEASED in the wrong order as well), their scheduling (episodes didn't have a fixed air time on the network, specifically because they planned to use the episodes as filler around other programs), their marketing (to my knowledge there was a SINGLE toy-line, the main monetary driving force for kids cartoons, and the quality of toys was EXTREMELY shoddy), and their advertising (seriously, every advertisement and promotional video I've seen for Rise has an air date of some time DURING the SECOND season). What's more, the second season was only able to be as good as it was because the show had already been written off and the creators could actually try and make at least 'part' of what they originally wanted.

If you're looking for an another show that's similar to Rise to check out. I recommend checking out Lego's Monkie Kid it's an animated series that's sort of a modern take of the Journey to the West story. It follows the main character MK whose the reincarnation of the monkey king. Together with his friends he protects his city and fights villains from the journey to the West story. The same animation studio that did Rise also did this series and the fight scenes are incredible.

Rise of the TMNT was such a good ride. Even I ignored the series at first until my twin recommended it to me further down the line. Ended up loving it, I especially love the family aspect despite all of the turtles being a different species

I used to hate this because of how much comedy was in it in some places, but then I watched the movie and decided to watch the full show. I fell in love with it and I honestly wished they would've gave it more seasons or movies.
