Amazing! This 4 part tutorial is the best I have seen. Very clear direction, especially for this Newbie/old guy. Until recently I thought 3Ds Max was the top program for me, but not now. Blender has shown it's depth and power - and it is affordable. Keep up the good work. Can't wait till the next one.

A friend told me that when starting Blender, you can never miss with tutor4u... after 4 days, I can already follow easily Blender Guru and more quicker "teachers".. but still, with this guy I have already made Pool balls, Soccer ball, Realistic ring, and now Ukulele! Keep up the good work!

you are awesome and one of the best teachers on youtube with so much of details that is required to the beginners. However, while learning in 2023 with blender 3.6 its kinda difficulty as the menus and the way they have been placed are different. Anyway I am able to manage looking into other options and playing around. Keeping helping us man.

Watching your videos is an extraordinary experience. I can only describe it as what it must be like to learn sorcery or spellcasting. Your cadence and tone and manner are mesmerizing and if I was stranded on a desert island all I would need is a PC with your channel and blender on it. Is there some way I can send you some money!?

14:13 insert cut loop, move it to the end, press G then X followed by 1.26 extends the left edge out by 1.26. If i add a minus sign it extends the right side edge by 1.26 even though the cut loop is at the left side, proportional editing isn't on and I can't think what else my be the problem, any ideas?

Hi everybody, i've found this tutorial real immersive and interesting but i've found a strange behaviour at the beginning of the part two. After i select the top vertexes and remove it from the oval when i sligh rotate the view in my blender the y axis is in opposite to the tutorial one. Did someone of you knows if there are settings that i miss ? p.s. i'm using the 2.77a. Thanks in advance to all of you give me some ideas about it.

Great tutorial! Why my render is so blurred (made with Geforce Gtx 960)?, render samples 1000, but even if I increase samples, it doesn't make any difference. This render is so sharp and clear. Could it be a setting issue?

At 2:45 it does not work properly for me. It pushes all the faces into the neck when scaling to zero. I have tried this multiple times with the same result. I cannot get my sides to flatten. I think the reason it moves all the faces to the center of the neck is because the cursor is sitting dead center at the end of the neck. I have no idea how to fix this. Can anyone help?

He doesn't mention this for some reason in his videos.... In many cases (not all), after the whole "Cursor to Center" command, you have to open the Shift+S menu again and select "Cursor to Selected". In your case, it should solve the problem. Once the cursor follows selected, then proceed with the action you were trying to do and see the desired result.

Thanks for the help guys. I did manage to finish the model but it took several tries using different cursor settings to resolve the problem I was having. It must have taken me 8 hours to complete this model but it looks great! I brought this model into a 3D animation program just to see how huge it was vertice wise. It contains almost 1 million vertices. WOW!
