You told everything in the most effective way that l could understand, see and remember which stitches why and when have to be done! Yo're a natural born knitting teacher! Thank you so much! I'm a lot handidapped with my hands which allways seemeto shiver, they vibrate as if l had parcinson, but l haven't , it's part of so many years taking medicine because l'm bad ill and my deseases need to take it all of my life. So l began to knit to get more controle over my hands again. And it works! Further on it took me 5 minutes to write my name and no one was able to read it. Now l write and, yes, it takes time, but not too long just a little more ane l can write my whole adresse and a little bit more. I practice for about 4 and a half years. It works more and more and l learned to love knitting! I knit socks, pullowers, shawls and whatever l want . But allthough l knit toe up and l don't need a gusset for myself l wanna know it for other people l sometimes knit for and because l like to learn more and more. That pattern does not accept that some people have a higher incept. They wouldn’t fit into this sock. Also small medium and tall ist too less formation. You exactly need the right inches when to start increasing and then is depends how high is your incept how much you increase and how high is you flap. It it really great that you do not have to pick up extra stitches… very good System and well explained! But unfortunately only for people with a standard food…. Nevertheless everybody has to try it out himself…, then the pattern will be great!

I found your video for custom socks a long time ago and decided to give them a shot. I know in the original video you mentioned doing an after thought heel but I really like the look of the gusset heel flap heel. You did mention that video in this one, but when doing the heel turn you mentioned slipping stitches as indicated in the pattern. Since I am doing this custom, I don't have a pattern to work from and I am wondering if you have any tips to adapt what I'm seeing in this video to work. I have ideas on how to figure out how many increases I would need for the gusset part, and can try it on as I go. Would this work for the turning part as well? This will be my first pair of socks, so any help is appreciated!! Thank you!!

Idk if you are still monitoring this video, but I have a question on the last step: after I’ve decreased back down to the original # of sts on my back needle, I still have gaps on either side. If I just start knitting in the round, I’ll have gaps at my ankles & it didn’t look like you did on yours. Help? 😊🙏

Wonderful video! You had a lot af work and you did it so great! A little help so that the end of your cable doesn't make that sound: you canput a little silicon end stopper at hte end of the cable. Or you can put some cloth around the end and fix it with some yarn or a gum or do anything you want to avoid this disturbing sound. All other is perfect, dear! Go on with videos, please!

When u started picking up the bar down below the slip stitches and then you put it on the left needle you picked it up with inserting your needle in the back and then a few times you would pick it up in the front. You also forgot to show how to finish the top part of the sock so people would know how to bind it off

I am trying to work my heel turn, I have completed the short rows 7 times and am now at the step where I knit across and pick up the neck around the slipped stitch. In the video your necks lean left making it easy to pick up and put on the needle, mine are all leaning right making it impossible. I don’t know what I have done wrong. I slipped them all purlwise on the short rows - exactly as you have shown in your video. Any ideas? I am so disheartened.

I had this exact same issue, but all I did was reach down below the sts & picked up the leg of that st & it worked out fine. Hope you figured it out!
