How many stitches does each side have?
@pambrady70502 ай бұрын
Great tutorial, thanks for the instruction. I have a question, you mentioned that the contrasting color would be seen on the back when you carried it up to the next row. However, in your video where you showed how to arrange the squares to be crocheted together, I didn’t see the carried yarn when you showed the back side. How did you hide the carried yarn? Thanks!

Is there a tutorial explaining how you see them together? I am having trouble on a different two color project. When you get to the corners wit the two colors, how do you connect them so it looks sharp. There is always one point (the one that the square is finished with) that doesn't align right in the corner.

I can't remember if I have mentioned this before... 2 years ago I made a crochet quilt. I has 12 different classic quilt blocks in it and one of them is the 2 color square. I wish I had your tutorial then, it looks far less fiddly! Though the results are as equally stunning

When you show how to sew these all together the floats on the back seem like they disappeared. How did you do that? This is such an elegant quilt. I would really love to make one.

I crocheted over them so they are hidden between the stitches! ☺️❤️

Thank you for sharing Sandra 😊. Is it because you don't want to cut the yarn and have to weave in ends that you carry the 2nd colour?.
@CherryHeart7 ай бұрын
Ooh sorry I didn’t see this sooner, but yes, I carry the second colour so that I can swap them easily and reduce ends. ☺️❤️

Hi Sandra where can I find your star quilt pattern please
@CherryHeart Жыл бұрын
There isn’t exactly a pattern as yet, although I am working on it. I do have some tutorials to get you started on the blocks though. I’ll link to my main page as I’ll be updating that with new info as I get it ready. ❤️ www.cherryheart.co.uk/2022/09/crochet-star-quilt.html?m=1

Hi. Yes you can! It’s adaptable for most weights of yarn. I make my crochet star quilt using 4ply and can say it works really well! ☺️❤️

I’ve always wanted to do a two color block and you make it look so clear and easy. I was trying to watch the joining two color crochet blocks but it says the video is private :(. Is it the same join as the solid granny squares? Thanks for the videos

I love your tutorials Sandra, you inspire me so much. I have adopted your way of making a solid granny square as I find the end result looks more symmetrical than other techniques out there so thank you. 👍🏻🥰
