Thanks this was helpful. I want to change out my front bumper on a 2009 Ford Focus one reason I can't afford a new vehicle and I want to make it look newer, but I was told that I would have to change the lights and hood first before it would fit

Hey this is 5 years late but with some sandpaper, acetone, and spray paint you can do a solid paint job to your hood

Try it with 1 guy? I did and I used a 2x4 to prop the front , then loosen bolts 95% on both sides , then tape in place and remove all screw and catch it.

Ok I did this by myself and the replacement is off and my hood won’t shut. You can’t just say that’s it as there is important issues that I need to address and your DIY messed me up.
