When you were talking about circles being motherly and incubation and that you sounded crazy. But as I thought about it it really does just make sense. Almost every character I could think about being round was a motherly or caring figure, or containing something inside of it like an egg or just a comforting character

Amazing video! Loved and enjoyed it so much! Learned a bunch as well! I’ve always been a more geometric oriented designer so I really loved revisiting the idea of shape language! So many new things to consider and much more in depth too!

right?? I feel like it's an underrated treasure- so grateful to have been introduced to it in school

@@nicholaskole133 Yeah, I used it pretty directly when I've taught 2D design, but now it shows up in my concept drawing class to show off how to create visual relationships. I have both editions of it which are a little bit different from each other. Thanks for this great video, been sharing it with my students!

Funny story about Jafar, he has a pretty hi-tech counterpart in Crash Bandicoot called N-Tropy, I think you have heard of him. Almost exact design language 1:1. Only this time you have a villain that manipulates time, rather than space. Jafar's genie form has the power to bend the space around him, while N-Tropy manipulates time.

The Sith have the same style of hoods just in darker colors or more death related colors. The Clan has the same style of hoods just like the Catholics or Eastern Orthodox religion. Jafar's hat has the Cobra back symbol in the front or reverse!
