Outstanding tutorial. I love how you constantly show problems then the magical setting that solves it. I tried making an explosion tutorial in 2020 and got 6 weeks deep before hitting two critical bugs that stopped me finishing it (and they're still not fixed!). Glad to see someone stepped up to deliver a thorough mantaflow tutorial to bring more people to the simulation side of Blender.

@Polyfjord3 жыл бұрын
Thanks!!! Hmmm... Right now working with HDR video seems too dependent on relatively expensive external hardware, so I still haven't figured out a good way to integrate that into a tutorial that has value for most people
@FinalMotion3 жыл бұрын
@@Polyfjord mmm totally, that makes sense... In that case, is there a resource/video you could recommend? or maybe make it a patreon tutorial? 🤔
@Polyfjord3 жыл бұрын
@@FinalMotion Here is the best video I have found on the topic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mWTcmXuZgZubY68 As you can see it requires both a separate 10-bit HDR display and an external capture and playback device like the UltraStudio 4K Mini
@FinalMotion3 жыл бұрын
@Polyfjord AHHHH ok thanks! I thought that since it was generated footage, just exporting it as a HDR Compatible format (Like EXR) and telling adobe/davinici that it is HDR Content, it would let you export/upload it. or at least let you play it back on ur PC (if you have a 10 bit monitor that is) But thanks, i didn't realize how much went into it, i just wanted to make some sweet renders like you did for your HDR Montage ❤Thanks!
