I'm following you from the Altium course on udemy and all your videos have so much useful information! Just keep going - your channel is one of those small gems on KZbin that are so hard to find in all that garbage bucket called KZbin.

Hi Robert, Thank you for the great tutorial! I was wondering, could you explain how to create my own version of the .uf2 file using QMK firmware? For example, if I wanted to build a 4x4 keyboard matrix with 4 encoders, what steps should I take ? It would be amazing if you could share some insights or point me in the right direction for customizing the firmware. Thanks in advance!

1. Go to QMK website and follow their instructions to install it on your PC. 2. Download files from my github github.com/FEDEVEL/custom-keyboard/tree/main/Software/Code%20for%20QMK/macroboard 3. Have a look inside of the files - it is super simple, you will immediately understand how to modify them, especially have a look inside of this file: github.com/FEDEVEL/custom-keyboard/blob/main/Software/Code%20for%20QMK/macroboard/info.json If I have time I still would like to create the software video, I just can't do it now as youtube buried this tutorial it means I have to do quickly something else to keep making money, otherwise I can't keep creating these free videos. I am very sad that videos from this tutorial only get 1000 views on my channel with almost 200k subscribers :( not motivating at all .... :(

so how does the key switch actually connect to the pcb. is it soldered?
@RobertFeranecКүн бұрын
you plug the switches into sockets which are mounted on the other side of the board. Here you can see it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qH7ShaSJeJ6qqLs

That's complex

looks complex because it is the whole product. but it's a great feeling when everything is put together
