I finished my Hattie Chicken block. I have all my pieces cut out for all the rest of the chickens. I am having such a good time. I have learned so much with Becky's fantastic instructions. Thanks, Becky for sharing your knowledge with us.

Just a FYI....In Canvas Workspace (online version), the "Download to PC" most certainly does work on a MAC. Wanted to let you know so not to discourage MAC users from purchasing the Brother ScanNCut. Enjoying the series. Thanks.

Thanks for this. I misspoke. Yes, it will download to a Mac, but the fcm file can't be used by a Mac in this method I'm showing unless you're running Parallels with a Windows OS. Thanks for keeping me straight! :)
@SherryCarrigan12 жыл бұрын
@@PowerToolsWithThread I'm able to see my FCM Thumbnails/icons (full picture view) in all of my MACS when I'm exploring the various file locations. Another tip if you don't mind....you could also arrange the legs with feet, and the beaks to your liking for each chicken in Canvas, then weld them together to create the single objects for cutting and appliqué.

Wow! Even though I’m not doing this stitch along I’m still learning so much on how to use my SNC and have found that I can do the embroidery steps almost the same in my Dime PRO. (My computer was hacked and couldn’t get back my Simply Applique and still looking for my very safe place I put that cd…)

Thanks for the great video! I feel so much more confident in what I’m doing! Possibly could you show how to do multiple hoopings for those of us with smaller hoops? I think I have an idea of how to do it but not sure about the positioning. I have a camera on my machine. Thanks again!

Yes, I've had so many requests that I'll stitch Percy using multiple hoopings. Thanks for the great idea!

Really enjoy all your videos. When I first saw you work with the Scan n Cut never did I see myself buying it. Because I was thinking I had to use it with a Brother machine. If I’m not mistaken I can use it with my Bernina Embroidery machine. Am I correct?
@lindanahler4132 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have a Bernina 790. The 790 series machine will read exp format. Hope this helps.

Is there a way to add the eyes and other embroidered details that are not cut from fabric?
@weeksd29032 жыл бұрын
I noticed that between all of the instructions piece 15 was reversed but you did not do it in Bcws but then when you are in simply appliqué it just shows up. I had to recut it

Hello. Does Canvas come with my Brother Scan and Cut? Or is it something you have to purchase. Ty

I guess I've missed something somewhere! You said you numbered all of them and I cant figure out how you do that. I put the number and name of the chicken on each page I scanned but obviously when you clean the page up for the designs you loose that
@debbiewhite32702 жыл бұрын
Hi Kim, I believe she numbered them in the name of each project scan file. Before u "overwrite", there is a name box w letters to the left.

These are so fun ! QUESTION - all my Hattie and Percy stitched perfect except for the Percy body - the blanket stitch appears to be reversed ?? Is there something I clicked to reverse that and didn't know it ?
@PowerToolsWithThread2 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, not sure. You might look at the patter on the computer. I hope it didn't get flipped accidentialy when you were flipping the tail.

I know your Percy looks just like Lori Holt's design, but the rear wing is upside down. I think it should have been flipped before being placed. Just my observation.
