2 things i'd like to mention 1. i remember the original song stems (includes chromatic scales) being released in mid feb by kawaiisprite, so " before chromatics" is wrong here. it's just before people popularized the idea of using them with tutorials. 2. chromatic scales in general were always a thing. a chromatic scale is a series of what is typically 12 notes or a whole octave, existing since the late 1900s. it's just a more obscure piece of music theory.

2:32 Hi, something about this step: You can just select the region of BF's vocals, right click the track tab and click Consolidate (Time Selection) to save time. Also, 24-bit WAV is your best bet for quality, not MP3.

I dont really know if you know this but..., BF voice was MADE in fl studio, it's not hard to actually make a bf instrument in fl studio that gives you every bf sound imaginable

Great video! I knew about exporting the voice files in FLStudio and using these but I have always considered it rather difficult without giving it a try. On the contrary, you just demonstrated to me that it's quite easier than it actually sounds. The way I thought of relatively "remaking" BF's voice was through high-pitched instruments with heavy modifications. Thanks in advance for this tutorial, learned a sub :) Edit 1: The only thing I'd like now is to find out how you make the songs because I'm usually out of ideas :))

I feel like this tutorial is good for when the map youre making has an original song made by yourself. But right now im working on making a map with the song "Artillery" from Infected Mushroom, so if i want to make the vocals its way harder than what you would just want to do. Most of the song is rapping, so to recreate the song as faithfully as possible i need to grab boyfriend's 22 audio files and place them accordingly to the lyrics (in a simplified way) for boyfriend sections and then pitch adjust all needed notes to the 4 minute song. I know its not a crazy number, its just getting a little hard for me cause every tutorial i find do manual lyrics by either recording their voices and pitch correcting, adding flanger adjustments etc. or they just create nonsensical lyrics just like in most fnf original songs

to add the songs, just take the .ogg of your vocals and your .ogg of the instrumental. find a song in the game files, notice how there are 2 .ogg files for each song. there is an (song)_Inst and a (song)_Voices. take your vocals(make sure they're an .ogg) and put them in the games music folder, do the same with your vocals. now find a original song in the game like bopeebo for example. remove the bopeebo voices and _Inst from the music folder and rename YOUR vocals and instrumental Bopeebo_Voices and Bopeebo_Inst. If done correctly, the AUDIO for bopeebo(or any other song you wish to replace)should be replaced by your own song! Note that this is the AUDIO, not the mapping for the notes. i would look up a tutorial for mapping since its super easy and theres some good ones out there.

though this process makes it sound more natural, there is a much easier way to do it by just plopping a sample into direct wave, it may not sound as natural but if your feeling lazy thats a way to do it

The thing about Newtone pitch corrector is that apparently it likes to break a lot when the audio is added to the playlist or even exported as an audio file. For some reason it breaks for me and my other friend and Newtone doesn't work properly unless you reopen it, leaving a result of needing to finish the progress again. I usually just do stuff on Newtone and record the audio of my PC when I am finished.
