Hmm, then either becoming a master is actually easy and all of those kung-fu movies lied to me, or I'm only a master "on paper" - that is my Masters in Arts diploma. :D

Thank you for the useful tutorial. I am wondering how can i reverse the floor to be above the pipes (minute 22), means instead of the pipes fall downwards they go upwards & then may be using magnet snap, their ends will get attached forming intersecting rings.

Love your man content really helps with learning grasshopper and rhino . Hey is it possible that you may make a tutorial on how to form find on a perticular terrain . and maybe if possible with some climatic constrains like sun path and all that stuff .
@DesignGoBrr
@DesignGoBrr 3 жыл бұрын
For the landscape, just do 1 extra goal. Instead of floor, add solid point collide. The solid is the landscape and points are the vertices of the mesh. For sunlight - there needs to be some form of strategy or idea how the light should be treated. For northern countries you work with light in a completely different way as for yhe southern countries.

You use the entwine component to optimize computer processing? I did not understand why show input goes to {0;0} while the others go to {0;1} all togheter. But this tutorial is great!

16:39 From that step on, I cannot get the triremesh to work like so. I have no idea why. The only difference I see is my multipipe has a "caps" on the bottom, but i am not sure if that would effect capping with "cap holes" please help if possible. 3rd yr arch student currently working on a project.

Perhaps you havent updated in a while? Go to help-check for updates. It should fetch you a 7.9 update. From what I remember 7.7 already had multipipe, so my guess is that your version is old.

Great lesson! And most importantly, that it is just about what interested me. Dear author! In the place where the wrong result turned out and you changed the approach to building (43:38 time), unfortunately, after that you didn’t tell everything in such detail. I built the chain further, but one small yellow node at the Construction Mesh(input F) input breaks the whole result for me. Could you tell me what kind of node and its parameters. Thank you
@DesignGoBrr
@DesignGoBrr Жыл бұрын
If you zoom in to the construct mesh node - you should see an info baloon at the top right corner of the node. If you click it - it will tell you what the issue is. Could you write what it tells you?

@@DesignGoBrr Thank you for your quick response. I can't click on a node on a video. Unfortunately. I'm newbie in the Grasshopper. I have not yet figured out how to build this balloon and what it means. And I repeat worthy lessons. I am not an architect. I see digits 0,1,2

Is there a book or pdf that explains all the stuff in grasshopper. This is a difficult porgram but its even more difficult finding anything about how to use this program. 99% of programs comes with a manual or reference book. This program comes with a few dudes explaining how they made a flipping blob, or mesh growth...? wtf
@DesignGoBrr
@DesignGoBrr 2 жыл бұрын
Grasshopper is closer to a programming language rather than a design software. So you asking for a "manual" is flawed in it's essence. You don't ask for a manual for the Spanish language for instance. If you want an explanaition of what's what - google "Grasshopper primer" it's an online book. But all learning further on will be closer to learning Spanish than Autocad.

@DesignGoBrr
@DesignGoBrr 3 жыл бұрын
@@Opiop9 Really depends on what kind of render you're working on and what kind of machine. If it's a laptop and you're doing an interior scene - 4 hours for a 4k render is more than reasonable.

I really think that for us as architects it's important to know 3 languages: your mother-language, English and Chinese. That would be the most efficient way to distribute information to the largest amount of people. One language would be ideal of course, but that's not going to happen any time soon. So I strongly suggest learning English - it will open up a lot of doors for you!
